So I'm totally disappointed with ZyXEL. I bought a NAS just under a year ago, and after a firmware update, it only had a 100 Mbps connection on the network. The device was replaced twice, and both times the same problematic firmware was installed, and ZyXEL isn't helping at all. They just say "end of life." Never again ZyXEL—I’m replacing their other products too and won’t recommend them to my customers. They don’t deserve a single star.

Thank you for your feedback. The NAS series devices you mentioned—such as the NAS325, NAS520/1, or NAS540—are very old models that reached end-of-life status back in 2021. Since then, these products have no longer been actively developed, and no new firmware or operating system updates are available. Firmware updates installed after the official end of support may therefore lead to limitations, particularly when used with modern network infrastructure. Unfortunately, in such cases, we are no longer able to provide technical support or further customizations. We understand your frustration and regret that you have had this experience. At the same time, we ask for your understanding that full compatibility with current system environments cannot be guaranteed for products outside the active product lifecycle. Thank you very much for the great news.
We have had Zyxel APs in the house for as long as I can remember (4 of them). Since then, however, we have always had a problem with the wifi, it always had to be two, otherwise there was no reception in certain areas of the house. In the near future, however, I want to run certain processes in the house via HA and it is important for me that the WLAN works perfectly. I've tried a few things over the last few weeks, but there was always something that didn't work. (I always ask for help from support when I really can't get any further) The last time I tried logging in again and reintegrating everything AP into the system, everything was fine apart from a few little things. I contacted support for this and they responded very quickly, even though the processing level was low. I am really grateful to you for that. Now everything is up and running and I can close the wifi issue.

badly reachable...whether by e-mail or by online contact or by phone...really a disaster ! There is no feedback at all !
