Nearly a year later, the experience has been more than excellent. Zoomin is a team with a very high level of professionalism and expertise, who keep their promises and follow through—but they also come to the table with their own proposals and ideas. Our experience with this agency has been disappointing. Despite clear agreements about ending the collaboration, a payment reminder was still sent for a period that, according to the agreement, should have been dropped. That doesn’t inspire confidence in keeping to the commitments that were made. In addition, they handled our marketing budget carelessly. When we requested changes, we weren’t given sufficient guidance on how those adjustments would affect our performance. From a specialized agency, you’d expect them to explain clearly in advance what the impact of changes like these will be. The reports also gave a sloppy and unprofessional impression. They were generic, contained multiple language and spelling mistakes, had cut-and-paste text inserted into a polished layout, and offered little clear explanation of the strategy that was chosen. This left us with no confidence that our campaigns were being worked on carefully and with substance. As a result, our performance has deteriorated significantly. Analysis also shows that a large portion of the backlinks that were placed had a high level of toxicity, which can be harmful to rankings. For us, the collaboration with John and Anoushka didn’t deliver what was promised upfront.
