We are an association of various daycare centers in the Eder church district. As the operating body, we manage eleven daycare centers and ensure educational care in the region. In my role as a member of the management and executive board, I am responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the association.
The main goal was to relaunch our website in order to address two key target groups more effectively: parents and potential specialist staff. We needed a central point of contact where parents could quickly and intuitively find all relevant information about our facilities. At the same time, our goal was to position ourselves as an attractive employer through modern design and clear messaging. The focus was on a clear information architecture so that visitors could find the content they were looking for immediately and without any obstacles.

Ultimately, we were convinced by the overall package, which offered fair value for money and the existing relationship of trust, which is why we awarded the contract to Vanced Media again.
The process began with an intensive digital workshop to sharpen our brand identity. Together, we clarified our values and the content we wanted to convey. After clarifying our goals, with close support from Vanced Media, the design phase began quickly. There was a clear schedule, which was very ambitious in parts. Due to current internal challenges, we were unable to meet some of the deadlines on our part. Vanced Media responded very flexibly to this, took our situation into consideration, and dynamically adapted the process to our capabilities, which we greatly appreciated.
On the agency side, the project was mainly managed by Mr. Lamothe. He was supported by a project assistant, who was responsible for documenting the workshops and structuring the work results, as well as a designer for the visual implementation. On our side, my deputy and I were in charge of the project. The organization was excellently structured, so that tasks and communication were always clearly distributed.
Since we manage 11 different locations, the internal coordination of content (images, texts, etc.) by the respective management teams was a complex task, which I oversaw. The end result justifies the effort: we presented the final draft to a wide audience and received consistently positive feedback from both the teams and the entire board. The new website has been very well received internally and represents us authentically.
Delays occurred almost exclusively on our side, as coordination between many internal personnel was required. Vanced Media responded to this patiently and professionally. The interactive feedback culture is particularly noteworthy: nothing was simply presented to us. Whether it was the color scheme or the layout, our comments were heard and implemented extremely quickly. There were several feedback loops, which were always constructive and improved the result.

I am completely satisfied with the process and the result. One small suggestion for improvement for future projects would be even more proactive expectation management with regard to the resources and effort required on the part of the customer. Since we provided the content ourselves, it would have been helpful to know earlier how much time we would realistically need to allow for this. Perhaps reminder emails would also have been helpful to keep us on track in the event of internal delays.
