Unfortunately, my experience with this company has not been positive so far. On March 7, 2026, I wanted to activate my new fiber-optic connection early—more than a week before the scheduled date. I immediately noticed that the red alarm LED on the ONT was lit, which prevented activation. I reported the issue right away both online and by phone. Four business days later (March 12, 2026), I received a response from Ventkom IT with an appointment scheduled for March 16, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. I had already pointed out over the phone beforehand that my current DSL contract ends on March 17, 2026—unfortunately, this did not seem to be a particular priority. On March 16, the cancellation due to the technician’s illness did not come until 10:43 a.m.—just under two hours after the scheduled appointment. To be honest, I find it a bit hard to understand this very last-minute cancellation. Afterward, it was extremely difficult to reach anyone: Several attempts to call the provided number resulted only in the answering machine, and there was no response to messages or emails. Two business days later, a new appointment for April 6, 2026 (Easter Monday) was proposed via email. Again, it was initially impossible to clarify this over the phone. It was only through an alternative phone number that I was able to reach someone. After about two hours, I received a callback in which I was then informed that, of course, no appointment would take place on this holiday and that the next available appointment would not be until April 14, 2026. Since my internet connection has been completely shut down since March 19, 2026, this delay is particularly frustrating. I understand that illness can happen—however, in my view, the communication, availability, and scheduling are very disappointing. If the terms of the fiber-optic contract weren’t so attractive, I would have already canceled the service. Conclusion: Unfortunately, no recommendation for ONT connection troubleshooting so far. I hope this impression improves as things progress.
