Support sucks, request form only. While sales has phone number and live chat.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience interviewing for the Revenue Operations role at Usercentrics. I had my first interview in September, after which I received no feedback or update on my status, whether I was shortlisted or rejected. A month later, their CCO, Georg, reached out via LinkedIn to restart the process. I reconnected with the HR representative, who apologized for the earlier miscommunication and said they would continue the process. The role required SQL experience, which I openly mentioned I lacked but expressed a strong willingness to learn. The team assured me that this wouldn’t be an issue and that on-the-job learning support would be provided. In October, I completed two interview rounds successfully and moved to the third technical round, which involved a case study presentation at their Munich office. Due to HR miscommunication, I had to visit the office twice for the same purpose. Despite the inconvenience, I gave my best effort in the presentation. A few days later, I received an email stating that I was not selected, which I completely understand. However, what I don’t understand is the complete lack of feedback or response afterward, despite my multiple follow-ups with both HR and Georg. To add to the frustration, the hiring managers who were supposed to attend the final presentation didn’t even show up. Instead, two other employees (who weren’t part of the role or team) attended the session. I was told the presentation would be recorded and shared with the actual hiring managers, which felt very unprofessional. It’s shocking that a company with $100M ARR operates with such poor communication and disorganized hiring processes. The HR team (Justyna and Paula) and the Sales contact (Dirk) seemed disconnected and unclear about the expectations for the role. I’m sharing this review to save others from wasting their time and energy. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability throughout the process was disappointing. If the hiring experience reflects the internal culture, I can only imagine how frustrating it might be to work here.

Legally impermissible, unilateral change to the offer with a 100% price increase, which was only communicated once in a seemingly unimportant email. The company therefore appears highly dubious and should be avoided. I am currently preparing steps against this price increase.

Usercentrics is horrible. before i used Usercentrics i was a Cookiebot client already. Decided to move for better crossdomain sharing, and better pricing for multidomain. But really. Bad UX/UI not inituive to implement, it cost me so much more time. the Cookiebot solution used to be the best. If you think the mother company makes a better product your wrong. But now cookiebot is to expensive and usercentrics is just overall a bad program to work with. Go to a solution that is actually Friendly to use and cheaper.

Disappointing Experience, Especially from a Company Claiming to Value DEI. I had the unfortunate experience of interviewing with Usercentrics for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) role, ironically enough. I spoke with Sophia, who represented the DEI team and assured me she would follow up within a week. That was several weeks ago. Not only has she failed to respond, but there’s been complete radio silence, despite me taking the time and emotional energy to prepare, show up, and engage in what I assumed was a values-driven process. It’s especially telling when a company that publicly claims to champion DEI fails to demonstrate basic professional courtesy and transparency in its own recruitment process. If this is how candidates for DEI roles are treated, one can only imagine the internal culture. It's disappointing and, frankly, hypocritical. Candidates deserve better. At the very least, respect our time. **Update based on the company's response** Your response shows I’m not the only one who has been treated this way. If you need to dig through piles of applications to single me out, that is already a sign something is not working. You do not need to identify individual candidates to fix a broken process. If your recruitment process truly valued transparency and respect, it would be structured to ensure that no candidate is left in the dark after investing their time and energy. I was genuinely surprised. After the passionate pitch Sophia gave about being deeply involved in DEI, something as fundamental to the practice as follow-up and basic courtesy was not honoured. I hope this feedback prompts a meaningful and systemic review of how you approach recruitment. We are not just applications. We are people, and we deserve better treatment.

Dear Away Bus, We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share it with us.
