About ConSol AI

ConSol AI is a different kind of AI consulting. Our AI team isn’t made up of PowerPoint consultants. Instead, it consists of software engineers, architects, and integration specialists who have been building complex enterprise software for years—and have deliberately expanded that expertise with modern AI technologies. In addition to our work for clients, our team also handles AI enablement at ConSol itself, with an internal AI platform and dozens of assistants and automations. This is how we test and learn firsthand before bringing new technologies or approaches to our customers. Description

Horne E-Tech GmbH distributes technical components for medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including cable sleeves, connectors, and related connections. Sales teams need fast, reliable access to product-specific information during customer calls to ensure informed, competent advice.

Solution

A AI-powered assistant with a RAG pipeline was developed that processes and searches the provided product catalogs. Users interact by entering text or speaking, using speech-to-text capabilities. The system refines search queries using metadata, handles cross-reference tables to map external products, and clearly indicates when no suitable answer can be found. The solution was hosted exclusively on German IT infrastructure.

Results

Use the chatbot solution to secure the company’s essential product know-how and make it permanently available to sales. Sales gets faster, more reliable product information, which improves the quality of consultations in customer conversations. The platform meets the goal of an accurate hit rate and, thanks to the German hosting infrastructure, ensures full control over the data.
