I have worked with rackSPEED for years and recommend them to my clients as a hosting partner for projects of all sizes. A few weeks ago we moved from a renowned nginx hoster to Rackspeed and have not regretted it for a second. The entire team around Mr. Lehmann is extremely customer-oriented and works with outstanding expertise. The speed of the servers sets the benchmark in all our tests and we are extremely satisfied.

We have been a customer of Rackspeed for several years and are very satisfied overall. Currently, I have also booked a test server to try out some things and I have now noticed again (as it was already a few years ago with our other server) that the employees are really top. If a ticket is opened (with partly for a professional probably nerfigen questions), they answer not only briefly and concisely, but gave detailed answers with exact instructions for action. So they already helped me with some things very well (e.g. create and import backups via SSH, reset permissions etc.). Many thanks for that!

Update reply from rackSpeed dated 1.3.23 Now that you have replied I will briefly and concisely address the points. 1) We have created several ticket and asked why the updates are not installed for months, we have taken over the update itself. To 2) That is the least, since you have not provided any service. Also retroactively you have not. to 3) We also received this vague text without facts as a ticket. When asked for a reason why all the updates were not installed, again no facts. We rate only as a gesture of goodwill with two stars, the answers from you factual content on the tickets would be worth a maximum of 1 star. Too bad I can not publish them here for privacy reasons. ---- 1. rating We have been a happy customer of rackSpeed with a Nextcloud instance. We have booked: a) A NextCloud managed instance b) NextCloud monthly update service a, worked fine so far. b) poses the problem. We booked this feature for over a year. After a closer look, the updates were not made. We installed them ourselves twice after a long wait (6 months). Explanation / excuse: No update could be installed because the versions are not final. NextCloud was here already 2 major versions further, release and compatible marked. Even if one had a valid reason, this would have to be documented for the service as well as its testing. After inquiring about the proof of service, we received the answer: "We don't have it and we don't provide it".

Hello Mr. Wirth, I find it very unfortunate that you conceal fundamental things in your evaluation and knowingly tell the untruth: 1) It was never claimed that the Nextcloud versions are not "final". Likewise, your quote is demonstrably false. 2) We have cancelled the service for you without observing the cancellation period because you were dissatisfied. 3) We guarantee a secure and stable Nextcloud. Updates are installed when we have tested them and it is necessary, this does not mean that we install any update. Of course, updates will be done earlier if a customer requests it or needs brand new features, you updated your Nextcloud yourself and then filed the complaint. The updates are completely automated, so there is no performance record in the real sense but log files. I ask for your understanding that we did not bother to compile this data for you given the history. Overall, I find it very unfortunate that you rate your entire experience with only 2 stars. According to our own statement, the main contract in the form of the Nextcloud managed server worked well, this is only about an add-on that we also immediately canceled. In this context, I ask for your understanding that we cannot refund retroactively for more than 1 year but can only act from the day of the complaint. Best regards Maik Lehmann / CEO
