Great deal on saunas—and at a top price.

We visited the thermal baths during the holidays, and there was something for everyone. Our kids, ages 2 and 10, had a great time on both the small and the big slide. There’s a wave pool (every hour), whirlpools, a swimming area, a smaller activity pool, a steam room, and an outdoor area (also with whirlpools). The sauna area is also really beautifully designed, with 7 saunas and a rooftop garden—which was the highlight for us. The food was super tasty and truly thoughtfully prepared for the kids. The value for the price is absolutely fair 👌🏻. It’s not really a “fun pool” (water park), but it’s more than enough for splashing around and relaxing. That said, the term “thermal baths” doesn’t really feel quite right to us, because there were no salt-spring (Sole) pools. We really liked it 👍🏻

For many years now, I’ve regularly visited various thermal baths and sauna areas across Germany. Without a doubt, the sauna at Thüringen Therme is one of the nicest and most pleasant facilities I know. Right when you walk in, you can tell how clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully cared for the entire complex is. The saunas are superbly heated, the rest areas invite you to unwind, and the whole team ensures that you can leave everyday life behind within just a few minutes. I especially appreciate the calm atmosphere here: it’s not loud or hectic, but just how you’d want a good sauna to be—quiet, respectful, and genuinely relaxing. I’d also like to give Frank a very special compliment. If you’ve experienced his infusions even once, you immediately understand why so many guests specifically come for his sessions. His infusions aren’t just hot—they’re real experiences. The selection of scents is wonderfully matched, his fan technique is impressive, and you can feel in every minute that someone with a lot of experience, genuine passion, and an exceptional sense for his guests is at work. Each infusion is professionally prepared and creates exactly the right balance of relaxation, wellbeing, and intense sauna culture. What sets Frank apart even more is his friendly, authentic way of connecting with guests. He meets people at all times with respect, good energy, and real enthusiasm for his job. People like him are what make the difference between a good sauna and one that you’ll want to come back to again and again. My overall impression after many visits: the entire team works with dedication and professionalism and does a lot to ensure guests feel comfortable and at ease. For me, Thüringen Therme is truly a standout for the region. If you’re looking for a well-kept sauna area, high-quality infusions, and warm, friendly staff, this is exactly the place for you. And if you get the chance to experience an infusion with Frank, you really shouldn’t miss it. Thank you to the entire team! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

A bit small, but it has everything a swimming pool needs. Very nice outdoor area 🌊 Since I didn’t use everything—like the steam sauna—I can’t really rate those parts.
