Dear Sir, We find it curious, to say the least, that this is a profile created solely with this review, and whose name does not appear in our database of more than 1,800 clients; therefore, the claim that “I went in” and providing such detailed knowledge of the practices is a bit incongruous. “Shouting before entering”—did you see that at the door? Do we wait outside to shout at them? “They send him away on his own”—“him” or “them”? All of them, or just IN HIS CASE? Interns NEVER go out alone during their first few months, and until we see that they’re ready and give them the chance to work on the street, they only deliver materials. “If they don’t clean up before leaving, they’ll be fired.” I’d like to see if—not just us, but any company in the industry—has actually fired someone for not cleaning up before leaving. What a load of nonsense. Honestly, we don’t know if this is a frustrated parent whose child’s internship was cut short due to a lack of attitude and motivation, or the student himself, who has accomplished more with these three lines than in the entire time he was here. The only thing we can say is that our staff has been made up—almost since we started more than 20 years ago—of “young people” who came here as interns, and we’re still in touch with some of them years after they left—they’re now in positions like IT Manager for a major English city’s healthcare system or as systems managers at companies in the PTA—so we can’t be doing such a bad job training them. If anyone has ever been “fired” (what we actually do is end their internship, not fire them), it’s better for them to be at home than here doing nothing—it’s that simple. We hope that, if you disagree with what’s been said, you’ll stop by our store—we’d be delighted to meet you and have you clarify these baseless defamations.
