An absolute nightmare dealing with this company and trying to get a service contract set up. Customers end up taking the hit too. IT has to create its own GoDaddy account just to gain access to WordPress for the website. And then—three days after the IT team was invited—they informed me (after repeated access-denied messages) that they still couldn’t get in. The “pre-announcement” GoDaddy shows online lists a different name than the domains that were booked. Customer service is unreachable, and the phone number listed on the website as a contact number isn’t even assigned to anyone. The chat feature is offline and only reachable via a workaround—at the end, I even chose the English-language customer support option, and it sent me to the U.S. After 15 minutes on hold, I finally got it sorted, and even that was a hassle. If you’re in the mood for annoying, pointless adventures that come with high costs—GoDaddy is a great place to be. And if you’re looking for a provider that’s thought through its offerings and can actually deliver what it sells through staff who make things work for paying customers, then—based on my experience—I think you should avoid GoDaddy. After 12 months, I’m out of here. Completely.

Worst DNS and domain service. Don’t bother with this one—do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere.

What a mess. You can only get an auth code for domain transfer after chatting with support. They sent me the wrong auth code several times. So I decided to let the domain expire. Two days before it expired, the domain was no longer usable. All domain records were offline. Plus, I couldn't change the nameservers. No homepage, no services, nothing worked anymore. Two days BEFORE the term expired.

Even giving this company a 1 feels excessive. You pay premium prices for bargain-basement service, and when you try to cancel, their true colors appear: rudeness, unprofessional conduct, and pushy tactics meant to keep you locked in. Their customer service carries itself like a top-tier tech operation, but the reality is far from basic service, just get a life. After what I experienced, several people in my network have already chosen to steer clear. Word of mouth is still powerful.

Better avoid their services, the business means i experienced are more than questionable. Moreover, prices are far above market

I did not renew a domain because I do not need it anymore. However, Godaddy keeps spamming my inbox about "It's so important you renew blablabla". Joke of a company, when I set manually "DO NOT RENEW", don't SPAM me. My 3yo Toddler get's it better when I say NO. Never Ever Again! I will move all my domains to a more serious partner.

Bad experience. Bought 3 year e-mail domains support. After 1 year of use all desktops apps stopped to synchronize data. Outlook 2010, Thunderbolt does not work. Instruction on the web site does not work. Technical support said "Upgrade Outlook to 2016, then it will work", while everything else must work as well. No refund for 2 rest of years. In a support case, 1st level support is good up to a certain standard level. Anything beyond that is extremely bad. Especially since promised escalations are not carried out and I was ultimately left sitting on additional costs in the 3-digit range.

Abuse procedure fails when reporting scam. When sending a full scam report, an email is sent from an unmonitored email box. Requiring you to visit some web form. This web form contains a closed list of possible malicious uses of their sites, but not fraud or scam in anyway. The GoDaddy bot to the rescue. No, it is quite stupid and channels everything to closed questions and keeps repeating itself when you choose "Something else". Since self-service is made impossible, no real person can be gotten on the chat without first acquiring a GoDaddy account. Well, so far for making the world a better place by allowing scammers to continue. This review might make a great sales argument for scammers to use GoDaddy.
