I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it any less—the service was nonexistent, even rude, with sloppy work at an exorbitant price for a gradient that looked like it was done with their eyes closed. I don’t recommend going there unless you’re sending someone you’ve never liked there.

I went to the En Aparté salon for the first time this week on a recommendation. After some bad experiences with hairstylists and my curly hair, I hadn’t been there in years. However, Catherine was fantastic and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted, taking the time to listen to what I wanted. I highly recommend her and will definitely go back!

I absolutely do not recommend this hair salon—the service is terrible; we felt like we were a bother.
As for the haircut, I asked for a color and insisted on a test strand, but in the end they refused, and I ended up with hair that was a disaster—unfixable and full of elastic bands. As for the color, I could have just bought some off the shelf—it would have been so much better.
