acáo GmbH sees itself as an innovator in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector with a strong focus on sustainable food and beverages for the drugstore trade. We also sell environmentally friendly, plastic-free everyday products in e-commerce under the Wildbär brand. As Managing Director of acáo GmbH, I am responsible for the strategic direction of the company, brand development and the overarching coordination of product, sales and digital projects, among other things.
The aim of the project was a comprehensive relaunch of our company website, including a new online store. Up to this point, each of our products had its own brand website - a strategy that made sense at first, but in the long term led to a high administrative burden and made brand communication more difficult. In addition, the overall appearance was no longer consistent and no longer met our standards of professionalism and brand strength. Our aim was therefore to create a central website under the company name that clearly reflected our brand world and on which all products could be clearly presented and sold directly. Technologically, the solution was to be based on WordPress and WooCommerce to ensure maximum flexibility and easy maintenance. It was also important for the new platform to be ads-capable so that we could build targeted marketing measures on it.
For us, regional cooperation is always an advantage - even if we are not exclusively committed to Wiesbaden, the Rhine-Main region is particularly important to us as a location. During the selection phase, we specifically contacted service providers and looked to see who would provide competent and prompt feedback.
