Very bad experience. I contacted the front desk for a simple request for a job-shadowing placement for my son (10th grade), and I came across someone who was particularly unpleasant—if not outright aggressive. I couldn’t even get a word in or explain my request: there was essentially no listening. It’s really regrettable to see such a lack of professionalism for such a basic request. A job-shadowing placement is often a young person’s first introduction to the world of work—though you have to be lucky enough to deal with adults who can show at least a minimum of respect. Maybe it’s worth remembering that everyone, at some point, needed someone to give them a chance—even if it was just to observe a profession.
Hello, I have carefully read your message with particular attention. We’re genuinely sorry to learn that your telephone conversation did not meet our standards of courtesy. At Digimood, we place great importance on communication, and we take pride in regularly welcoming interns to introduce them to our line of work. That’s why it’s especially regrettable that you felt you weren’t being listened to during your call. On behalf of the agency, please accept our apologies for this negative impression. I also wish your son an excellent job search and a rewarding experience for his upcoming internship. Kind regards, Juliette Pignol
