★☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, you can’t leave a zero-star review. Based on everything I experienced there, even 1 star feels like too much. This was, by far, the worst service experience I’ve ever had with a computer repair shop. I brought my iMac in for repair, and after the work was done, the computer never really worked properly again. When I picked it up and opened it, the original display glass had been damaged. Then a new display was installed—but it was crookedly glued in. They returned the computer to me as if it were “repaired,” but just a few days later the display started coming loose again and sliding downward. It happened multiple times. For over a year, they tried to fix the problem—without success. In the end, I paid around €220 and got back a computer in worse condition than before the repair. After I finally gave up, I found a specialist in Herford. They repaired the iMac within a single day, and the very next day I was able to pick it up fully functional again. My advice to all Mac owners: drive the extra 10 kilometers to Herford instead of risking an experience like this. Maybe this business is okay for smaller jobs, but in my experience, when it comes to Apple and Mac devices, they simply don’t have the necessary know-how and competence. Customer service was also disappointing. The door was often closed, communication was difficult, and as a customer I constantly felt like no one wanted to take responsibility for the problems they caused. After more than a year of lost time, unnecessary stress, and extra costs, I unfortunately can’t recommend this service to anyone.

In your iMac, a hardware defect was already present when the device was received, which required a repair. Apple devices of this model are, by design, very complex to open, because the display is glued in place, and damage can occur during removal despite the utmost care. You were informed in advance about the existing risks. It is true that after the repair there were issues with the display’s adhesive. That’s why we corrected the problem multiple times—without any additional charge. Our goal was always to find a satisfactory solution. We expressly regret that the process took longer than expected. However, it is not correct to suggest that no support was provided or that we did not take responsibility. On the contrary: we repeatedly invested both time and labor to enable a solution, even when this went well beyond the scope of work originally billed in some cases. Also, the claim that the computer was no longer functional in principle after the repair does not match our understanding. The device was checked multiple times and could be used in the meantime. Naturally, we cannot assess the work that was later carried out by another business. We take criticism seriously and use it to improve our processes. It’s a shame that, in the end, we were unable to find a solution that met your expectations. Nevertheless, we wish you all the best for the future and continued enjoyment with your iMac. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I took my PC to Cornix IT because it had suddenly become very slow and was constantly giving me trouble. They helped me right away in a friendly manner and really took the time to look everything over and explain the cause to me. The repair was done faster than I expected, and my PC has been running flawlessly ever since. The pricing was fair and transparent as well. You can tell that the people here know what they’re doing. I would definitely recommend them—if I ever have another problem with my PC, I’ll be happy to come back.
Great business! I took my 2.5-year-old HP laptop there because it wouldn't charge anymore. The company always stays in touch with the customer, gets things done. Unfortunately, in the end it turned out to be a total loss. Oh well, that's how it goes. I went to pick up my laptop and then came the big surprise: the laptop was still broken, but I wasn't charged for all the work they did. Really great service! I can only recommend them to everyone! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this PC specialist. I was served by an employee who did not respond to my concerns or my wishes. He derogatorily referred to my laptop as "outdated garbage" - a very disrespectful and unprofessional way of giving advice. Without suggesting a solution or saying goodbye, he simply got up at the end and left me standing there. Incidentally, another specialist store was able to fix my problem within a day - so it wasn't the fault of the appliance. It's also a shame that I didn't have the opportunity to speak to the owner or call in someone with more expertise. This is definitely not my idea of customer service.
