I think this service is completely unprofessional. I was charged €70, but the promised work was never actually carried out—the defective fan wasn’t replaced, and the problem was still there. In the end, it was basically like I paid for nothing. I wasted both my time and my money with no result. How customers are treated like this is unacceptable. If a service provider can’t complete a repair, they should be honest from the start instead of charging for work that wasn’t done. After an experience like this, it’s impossible to trust this service. I strongly advise against using it.

Sorry we left you with such a bad impression. I assume this was an evaluation of a Lenovo Legion. The job was for a “check of laptop/PC including a cost estimate,” so it was essentially a flat inspection fee. The stated problem was: “It won’t start anymore. The fan made strange noises.” At our end, the device boots up normally right away, and we couldn’t reproduce or verify those strange noises. We didn’t prepare a cost estimate because the suspected fan unit as a spare part isn’t available. Normally, in a case like this, the inspection fee is credited toward the repair—but that didn’t happen here, and it may have been handled a bit awkwardly. Please send a copy of the invoice to [email protected]. We’ll then reimburse the amount.

No matter how careful I am with computer work, I actually managed to mess up the so-called BIOS just before Easter 🙈 No worries, though—our company admin saved the day with a great tip: go to Cecon! I went in with the PC, explained the problem, and then got a really professional rundown of what could be done next. The professional solution was: get a new small, flat PC, and save the hard drive! Since I’m part of the so-called older boomer generation, I had them show me everything, and I was genuinely amazed at how small the equipment has become by now 🤓 After checking back with our company admin, everything was fine and it fit smoothly into our company network. The delivery was a bit delayed due to the Easter holidays, but in the end there were no issues at all. Thanks to the Cecon team—and to Mr. Bauer, who explained everything to me so simply!
