No matter how careful I am with computer work, I actually managed to mess up the so-called BIOS just before Easter 🙈 No worries, though—our company admin saved the day with a great tip: go to Cecon! I went in with the PC, explained the problem, and then got a really professional rundown of what could be done next. The professional solution was: get a new small, flat PC, and save the hard drive! Since I’m part of the so-called older boomer generation, I had them show me everything, and I was genuinely amazed at how small the equipment has become by now 🤓 After checking back with our company admin, everything was fine and it fit smoothly into our company network. The delivery was a bit delayed due to the Easter holidays, but in the end there were no issues at all. Thanks to the Cecon team—and to Mr. Bauer, who explained everything to me so simply! Bestes Lenovo Service: Wer in Berlin einen Lenovo ThinkPad hat und CeCon in der Nähe nutzen kann, kann sich glücklich schätzen. Super kompetenter Service, sogar als Privatnutzer hat man Kontakt zum Techniker. Sehr hohe Kompetenz, Empfehlung ohne Frage, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte meinen ThinkPad schon 16 Jahre und konnte dabei einige Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Lenovo-Services sammeln: etwa mit der Lenovo-Zentrale in Deutschland, wo es gehakt hat, oder noch schlimmer mit Lenovo Europa in Polen. Dort wurden Kunden offenbar schamlos mit alten, defekten Teilen abgewimmelt, indem Geräte zurückgeschickt und behauptet wurde, sie seien getauscht worden, inklusive Rechnung. (Das untere Cover war scheinbar nur „pseudo“ getauscht; ein eigener persönlicher Aufkleber klebte noch.) Das Gerät kam sogar im noch schlechteren Zustand zurück. Bei einer Beschwerde wurde sogar die Garantie storniert, ohne Rückzahlung. Fazit: Wenn man Probleme mit Lenovo hat, dann am besten direkt auf CeCon setzen und wirklich auf die kleinsten Details achten. Top Service, mit Abstand der beste Service. Danke.

Walked in with a laptop with a failing CPU fan, still under warranty. Professional and kind customer service, they had the part in store, swapped it on the spot and while waiting offered me coffee. I chatted with the very friendly and professional customer representative and within 20 minutes all was set and done. 10/10 would recommend!
