As a medium-sized company in the environmental sector with around 150 daily users of HCL Domino, we were looking for a reliable partner for operation, support and license consulting after our administrator retired. With Bücker GmbH, we found just that. The change from an anonymous broadliner to this specialized service provider was a complete success for us: instead of being just a customer number, we now have personal contacts who understand our IT environment, provide proactive support and give us competent advice. The migration to Domino 12 went smoothly, all deadlines were met and the new setup is more stable, more cost-efficient and of higher quality than before. We particularly appreciate the professional excellence, the partnership-based approach and the proactive approach of Bücker GmbH, which has noticeably eased our workload. We are a medium-sized company in the environmental sector with around 150 users who rely on HCL Domino for e-mail and various applications on a daily basis. For over a year now, we have had our entire Domino support managed by Bücker GmbH via an individual SLA - from admin service to 2nd level support. We made the conscious decision to switch from a large broadliner to this specialized partner - and it was absolutely the right decision. Before, we were just a customer number, today we have a personal, accessible contact person who really understands our environment and provides proactive support. We have now also completely handed over our license consulting to Bücker GmbH, because they provide us with really competent and fair advice. We are more than satisfied with the service and can recommend Bücker GmbH to any company that wants to operate HCL Domino securely, reliably and professionally.
The aim of our switch was to update our Domino environment to version 12 to make it more stable and future-proof. In addition, our internal administrator retired, so we needed a reliable external partner for operation, support and license consulting.
The price-performance ratio at Bücker GmbH is really top. We get excellent technical support, expert advice and personal service at fair conditions. Compared to our previous provider, everything is just right here - from the response time to cost control.
The implementation went smoothly: after the contract was awarded, Bücker GmbH first analyzed our existing Domino environment and created a stable migration concept. The update to version 12 was carried out without any downtime. At the same time, SLA processes were established, admin tasks were taken over and all users received integrated support.
In total, one project manager and two certified Domino administrators were involved on the Bücker GmbH side. As IT manager and project manager on the customer side, I myself was responsible for coordination, agreement of requirements and successful acceptance. This enabled us to implement the project efficiently and on schedule.
Overall, the transformation was simple and straightforward. Thanks to the clear migration plan, the upgrade to Domino 12 went quickly and smoothly. Today, the operation via Bücker GmbH is not only more stable, but also cheaper and of better quality than we could achieve with our own employees.
