For an urgent need, I was contacted on Malt. After spending a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes on the phone between two calls, plus an interview with pretty basic questions, someone from the team finally showed up 40 minutes late because of a bad link. I ended up getting a call yesterday to say that the final clients weren’t looking for freelancers anymore for the moment—and that the need would actually be starting in early June. No problem, however, this morning I found this message on Malt: “Your client has just accepted another freelancer’s quote for the project Development of a mobile application with React Native and integration of sensors/camera…” Agencies, honestly… something else. Outsourcing, wasting developers’ time just to end up with a few peanuts.
