Description

After buying your first boat or yacht, what’s next? This app offers everything sailors need: from anchorage locations and navigation tools to weather updates and nearby marina restaurants. It’s a complete journey planner for life at sea. We worked from the ideation to the implementation.

Un serious and real lack of rigor. Reputation as a school for rich kids who want to be on vacation the whole time. Class was held once per week, while the syllabus claimed 5x per week. Professors and administrators were impossible to get in touch with. Was told numerous times that my expectations were too high numerous times - and truly felt gaslit often. Most difficult bureaucratic process I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve dealt with the Spanish Government, the FBI, and worst of all: my congressperson.

The programme is marketed well. The delivery is another story entirely. Classes were cancelled with no replacement sessions. Scheduling changed according to the teachers' availability, not the students'. What little teaching happened often amounted to an hour of vague instruction followed by hours of being left to figure out technical assignments with no guidance. Students effectively taught themselves, and each other. The school provided a room and a deadline. For an AI master's, there were no AI credits and no tools provided. Some faculty were visibly unfamiliar with current AI and discouraged its use outright. Plan to spend an additional €300–500 on tools yourself if you actually want to do the work this course implies you will be doing. The final thesis defence had no panelists. Read that again. A master's-level thesis defence, with no one on the panel. The graduation show was poorly handled, with committed resources never materialising. Guidance on the final report requirements was absent until it was too late to matter. The peer cohort was exceptional and Barcelona is a great city. That is genuinely the best I can say about the experience as an institution. If you are self-directed and treat this as a paid co-working space with interesting classmates, you might get something from it.
