Project description: Creation of an online store for Polar-Games.de
Project goal: Development of a comprehensive online store for Polar-Games.de that appeals to both B2B and B2C customers and offers an efficient, user-friendly shopping experience.
Background: Polar-Games.de is a provider of monopoly games and accessories. In order to optimize sales processes and target different customer segments, an online store is to be developed that meets the needs of both business customers (B2B) and end consumers (B2C).
Target groups:
B2B: Retailers, wholesalers and other business customers who buy in large quantities
B2C: Private customers interested in games and accessories
Problems: The client had a half-finished store and could not map both target groups on their store. The payment function, shipping function and notification functions were also not working. The design and structure had to be rethought.
The following areas of the store were clearly defined by means of obligations and loads and prepared in tasks in project management and implemented step by step.
A framework contract agreement was concluded for this.
The following core functions of the online store were newly implemented in the collaboration:
The store account went online in time for the campaign launch in the pre-Christmas season and the first advertising measures ensured that the store was able to achieve monthly sales of over 100,000 euros in just a few weeks.
The failed orders amounted to no more than 20 and the error logs can be read out at any time and subsequently rectified.
We are still managing the dual webshop (B2B and B2C) today.
