I received a promotional email from this company without any prior contact or my signing up for offers like that. The message was sent to a general “firstnamelastname@domain” address, which could indicate the outreach was automated.

I really can't recommend this company! I work for a young company and working with this company was the worst decision in my opinion and will set us back months, but the contract is signed. The prices, even for the smallest task, are beyond good and evil! e.g. for the color change of the "button" several employees are supposedly busy for days, so for the cost a whole family could fly to the Caribbean all-inclusive! That alone wouldn't be so bad if the end result was right, but in this case our store is like a cheap template that you can buy on Ebay for 40 €, with lots of bugs and the performance is reminiscent of the 90s.
