Description
Südliche Waldstraße is not only one of Karlsruhe's most beautiful shopping streets, but also home to many individual stores, cafés, service providers and creative minds. SYD.MEDIA - anchored directly in the street - has developed an overarching social media concept that makes Waldstraße visible as a whole and offers local players a shared digital stage.
Challenge
Waldstraße has a lot of potential: personal stories, lovingly run stores, creative ideas and real people. Many of them were already active on social media - but each in their own right.
What was still missing was a common presence that bundles the diversity of the street and makes it tangible as a unit. The challenge was therefore not a lack of quality, but the question: how can we bring together the commitment, uniqueness and visibility of the many individual players in a meaningful way - and thus strengthen the street as a whole?
Solution
Our solution: A joint social media presence that pools resources, prepares content professionally and is published regularly - under the profile name @die.waldstrasse.
The concept is based on:
- Centralized editorial planning by SYD.MEDIA
- Professional photo and video production on site at participating shops
- Content packages with interview reels, insights into stores, personalities and special features
- Connecting design for recognition
- Common hashtag, links and mutual increase in reach
- Integration of seasonal events (e.g. Waldstraßenfest, Fest. e.g. Waldstraßenfest, Fest der Sinne)
- Personal support and easy participation for retailers
