I’ve had the idea for a while that I needed to do something with my website. It had been up since 2019, didn’t look current anymore, and on Google I was hardly discoverable. But since you’re busy with your own craft, it kept getting pushed aside. Through someone in my network, I ended up with Jelle from Studio Zonder Meer. He’s based in Hengelo, works solo—and I noticed that right away. No sales pitch, no intake with three people around the table. He just looked at my situation and said what needed to be done. In the end, we built a new WordPress website, including a new visual identity. Logo, colors—everything consistent. What I didn’t expect: he also set up my Google Business Profile completely. I did have it, but I never really kept it up to date. Now the address is correct, there are photos, and I show up when people search on Google Maps in the region. The difference was quicker to see than I thought. Customers who call and tell me they found me via Google—something that simply didn’t happen before. What I also really liked: you know in advance what it’s going to cost. No surprises afterward. For a small business owner in Twente, that matters—you don’t want to find out halfway through a project that things will turn out differently. For anyone around Hengelo, Enschede, or Almelo who wants a new website built or wants to be found better on Google: I wouldn’t wait too long.
