After the cold call via unsolicited emails (plural) did not work, I am now trapped in their newsletter. Without double opt-in, of course, and therefore also eligible for a warning in violation of the GDPR. Highly unprofessional, hands off. Update after reply: No. Nothing ordered. Not even the newsletter.

We are totally unhappy with the decision to use splendid Internet. The result-oriented support is missing and the costs are exploding. A meaningful service description is missing and that at an hourly rate of 120€ net. Paint store Gevelsberg

I definitely cannot agree with the previous speakers. "Calls" always take place with at least 4 people, who are of course also billed 4x. Results? Not available, only theoretical approaches which one would have to "implement" to determine in the next step that this does not function. Well, then the next approach! Time sheets? Missing. Only an Excel table, which is absolutely insufficient due to missing descriptions. About the expertise I can unfortunately nothing report, then one after one has concluded a contract actually only theoretically discusses and after more than 6,000€ the budget is also used up at some point. It was only a Magento 2 performance problem. Crowning the whole thing are of course reminders about a factoring company, which you can not doubt without legal advice, because the hourly rates are sufficient for Splendid Internet GmbH. The hourly rates are incredibly high, especially for the telephone calls (with others these are free of charge). Absolutely not recommendable!

UPDATE January 2023. There was an amicable agreement regarding the work and cancellation of the service contract. This was handled in a professional manner. ==================================================== November 2022 We have been looking for an agency for our move from Shopware 5 to 6 for a long time. I was way off the mark on that one. The call back from sales came relatively quickly. An initial meeting was also ok, contract signed, but then we were just a deadbeat. In the first three months, nothing happened at all, but when we were threatened with termination, we received a quick callback and big promises. The project was then approached slowly. We are talking about a standard Shopware 6 store, where all design templates were already created by our copywriter and graphic designer. Email contact to the project manager: "Dear Sir or Madam, unfortunately I am currently not in the office or sick leave" Yes you can then choose why he is not there and for how long. But you get the phone number of the head office. After 6 months we have a 3/4 finished home page. Should I have pushed harder? Sure. But with an hourly rate far above my "Porsche mechanic" ;-) I had assumed professional work behavior and not that I have to stand aside at everything. We give up. I can only speak from our experiences, but a second close look for alternatives is worthwhile.
