The energy startup ison connects manufacturers of smart energy products - from solar systems and heat pumps to batteries and wallboxes - with energy suppliers to enable homeowners to make tangible savings on their electricity costs and achieve greater energy efficiency. As a design studio, we redesigned and implemented the digital brand identity for ison - with the aim of making complex energy products and services understandable, modern and accessible.
Together with the ison team, we developed a modular, clearly structured website with interactive elements that makes content visually tangible and easy to understand.The development process included workshops on content and narrative structuring, mood boards, interactive wireframes and iterative prototyping steps - supplemented by regular feedback loops with the client. This resulted in intuitive user guidance that explains the complex product features step by step and addresses different target groups.
The result is a modern, easy-to-understand website that guides users safely through ison's offering - while positioning the brand and product as a pioneer of the digital energy transition.The clear structure, modular presentation and interactive presentation of the content reduced complexity and made the offering accessible - without losing any technical depth.The use of visual narratives and playful elements was particularly effective, allowing even topics that required explanation to be communicated interactively and easily understood.
