JAB Anstoetz pursued the goal of strategically realigning its existing e-commerce system landscape. Against the backdrop of rising costs due to the planned switch from an in-house shop system to a cloud-based solution, the company wanted to examine whether a system change would be an economically and technically viable alternative.

ShopStrategen supported JAB Anstoetz in the structured selection of an IT system for its B2B online shop. The goal was to create a sound basis for management to make decisions and to define a future-proof, cost-efficient system landscape.

Solution

ShopStrategen carried out a structured IT system selection process based on a proven process model. The focus was on clearly identifying requirements and objectively comparing suitable solutions on the market.

The measures implemented included:

  • Setup and kickoff to define goals, strategy, and roadmap in e-commerce
  • Review of existing documents, systems, and processes
  • Creation of a detailed requirements catalog with functional and non-functional criteria
