Unfortunately not recommended. Price / performance is not right. We commissioned Seokratie with SEO optimization for a website and initially specified a thematic focus with regard to the pages. A contract was concluded with a three-month notice period and an hourly budget of 16h á 150 EUR. A colleague with half a year of SEO experience was named as the responsible employee, who was then replaced by a more experienced colleague at our request with the comment that this had not actually been calculated in this way. In the first month, almost 6 hours were needed for training. The 16 hours were billed without any time sheet or delivery of a service. This was only changed following a complaint. In the following month, the revision of a subpage was started. This was to be rewritten as far as possible so that it would have the content of another page intended as a landing page instead of optimizing the far more important landing page. After our objections to these changes, work began on the category page, which we felt was important, and suggestions for text changes were made. A total of 2 (!) pages were revised textually, particularly with regard to spaces and commas, probably also with the cooperation of the younger colleague who was initially suggested. In the end, this led to the 16h budget being exceeded. We were advised to bill over 20 hours and the time for the first page was not taken into account. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is not right. As far as the texts are concerned, they get lost in minor details (e.g. change to e.g.). The time required is too high for the results and the billing of hours not worked and the unsolicited exceeding of the budget are unprofessional.

Please allow us to clarify a few points: 1. hourly rate and contract terms: We do not communicate hourly rates to the outside world as they are confidential, but the hourly rate was lower than 150 euros. We released you from the contract early after 6 weeks in the interest of both parties and only charged 21.25 hours out of a total of 51.25 hours worked. Our focus is always on a fair price-performance ratio. 2. team composition and experience: The initial assignment of a less experienced employee was a standard practice to facilitate the start of the project. However, at your request, we have assigned a more experienced colleague to meet your requirements. 3. induction and project management: SEO is a complex field and a thorough induction is essential to deliver high quality results. We understand that the time required for this can be perceived as high, but we see it as an investment in the quality of the results. 4. scope of work and attention to detail: We focused on optimizing and revising two key pages, including major improvements such as FAQs, jump labels and structural changes. In addition, correct spelling and grammar is an essential part of SEO as it enhances user experience and trust in the website. 5. communication and customer care: We value open communication and take your feedback seriously. Our goal is to support our clients every step of the way and respond to their needs. We understand that every customer relationship is unique and that sometimes misunderstandings can occur. We are proud that many of our clients have entered into long-term partnerships with us and value our services. Your case gives us the opportunity to further improve our processes and ensure that such situations are avoided in the future.
