I would like to single out Khashayar, who provided technical support, took our queries seriously, and understood our dissatisfaction with the results. Communication with him was objective, professional, and solution-oriented. Apart from that, there were no other aspects of the collaboration that made a lasting positive impression on me. The service provider urgently needs to align its sales promises with operational reality. Grand announcements and ambitious targets are of no help if they have to be relativized or withdrawn later on. Exaggerated sales expectations damage credibility and lead to frustration on the part of the customer.
We carry out road marking work, and I am the owner.
SEO TOP 3 for 6 search terms
Before signing the contract, I had already been with another agency for 12 months. The sales manager here spoke very badly of this agency, while at the same time promising quick and significantly better results. Specifically, he said that with the six selected terms (keywords 1–6), we could be in the top three after just six months. I believed these statements.
The project began with a strongly sales-driven phase, in which quick successes and ambitious target positions were promised. Specific rankings for several terms were promised early on, but these later proved to be unrealistic. After the contract began, an operational implementation phase followed, during which regular reports were delivered and measures were explained. Communication was primarily explanatory, but not sufficiently results-oriented, as the actual rankings fell significantly short of the original promises. After about six months without the promised results, the approach was adjusted and the goals were redefined in a much more defensive manner. Despite this adjustment, most of the new goals were not achieved either.
At the beginning, the main contact was the sales manager, who sold the project and defined the objectives. As the project progressed, additional operational contacts from the SEO/specialist department were added, in particular a permanent technical contact who accompanied the measures, explained reports, and acted as a link between implementation and the customer.
After a total of 12 months of working together and an investment in the mid five-figure range, my conclusion is unfortunately very sobering. Before signing the contract, I had already been with another agency for 12 months. The sales manager here spoke very badly of this agency, while at the same time promising quick and significantly better results. Specifically, he said that with the six selected terms (keywords 1–6), we could be in the top three after just six months. I believed these statements. After 6 months without the promised results, it was then admitted that these goals were not so easy to achieve after all. Concerned that the first few months would otherwise be wasted money, I extended the contract. Subsequently, I was communicated new target positions, but these were largely missed. Factual comparison of target vs. result after 12 months: Keyword 1 target: 1st place → result: 1st place (start: 2nd place) Keyword 2 target: top 3 → result: 6th place (start: 5th place) Keyword 3 target: top 3 → result: 5th place (start: 6th place) Keyword 4 Target: Top 5 → Result: 19th place (start: 34th place) Keyword 5 Target: Top 10 → Result: 22nd place (start: 51st place) Keyword 6 Target: Top 10 → Result: 33rd place (start: 84th place) Yes, there were improvements—but the agreed target positions were largely not achieved. In the end, it's results that count, not sales promises. Instead of clear results, we were given justifications and excuses. I would like to give a positive mention to Khashayar from Semtrix, who understood our dissatisfaction and provided technical support. However, this does not change the overall result. I am deliberately not publishing the name of our company so as not to give competitors unnecessary clues or incentives to improve their own SEO. The bottom line is that a lot of money was invested, but the promised and later redefined goals were not achieved. This review is intended to help other companies critically question sales promises.
Formal deadlines such as reporting or regular appointments were mostly met. However, the originally communicated time targets for achieving certain ranking positions were not met. Dealing with feedback: Feedback and dissatisfaction on my part were generally acknowledged and discussed. However, the response often focused on explanations and justifications as to why the results were not achieved as announced, rather than on concrete adjustments with measurable effects. Only after clear feedback was given were the target definitions adjusted, but these were also largely not achieved.
I would like to highlight Khashayar in particular, who provided technical support, took our queries seriously, and understood our dissatisfaction with the results. Communication with him was objective, professional, and solution-oriented. Apart from that, there were no other aspects of the collaboration that left a lasting positive impression on me.
The service provider urgently needs to align its sales promises with operational reality. Grand announcements and ambitious targets are of no help if they later have to be qualified or retracted. Exaggerated sales expectations damage credibility and lead to frustration on the part of customers.

There were no visible results, but no tangible results either. Semtrix did not comply with anything except for invoicing and a seo report, which is rather hieroglyphic for laymen.
We sell temporary tattoos online.
Ranking on the first page of Google, because a niche product is no problem according to Semtrix.
Because the stars are first taken from the sky.
First professional, but then not service and success-oriented.

Nothing.

Unwanted email outreach attempts—apparently LinkedIn profiles were scraped for this purpose.

SEO is a service, not a guarantee of success—that is correct, and it was also our expectation of Semtrix. However, during our collaboration, we found that basic requirements for a clean and structured SEO implementation were not met. Despite clear coordination and submitted redirect lists, backlinks were built to incorrect or no longer valid URLs over an extended period. Furthermore, many of these links did not generate any measurable organic traffic. We did not observe any active or reliable project management. We had to repeatedly raise important issues on our end. After we requested a pause, there was no clear response for weeks, while monthly payments continued to be debited. We view it as particularly critical that, despite the lack of results and obvious shortcomings, the agency consistently adhered to the contract term instead of working toward a solution to resolve the situation. We no longer work together and therefore cannot recommend this agency. Our conclusion: SEO is no guarantee of success—but it is very much a matter of quality, transparency, and accountability in execution. These expectations were not met in our case.

I keep getting annoying SEO ads from them—I never asked for them, and I never agreed to receive ads. It’s really annoying. They don’t even include an opt-out link in their email, so I’m not sure if you should trust people like that with your website.

Hi Jeremy, Thank you very much for your feedback! Although we are, of course, very sorry that you had this experience. We would like to clarify that we do not send cold emails. In fact, we’ve been hearing about such cases more frequently lately, which is why we definitely want to look into this. It would be very helpful if you could forward the email in question to [email protected] so we can investigate where these messages are coming from and take appropriate action. Thank you very much for your support

It's absolutely ridiculous what that team did to our site.
