As a neighbor across the street from the company, they really get on my nerves... Starting with the fact that lights in the office are constantly left on, shining all night long—much brighter and more disruptive than the streetlights. Then there are the leaf blowers or the window cleaners who love to start making noise as early as 6:30 a.m. Or, when they had power issues and ran a generator 24/7 for a few days. (But we did get an apology letter with a little bag of gummy bears!!!111) Right up to the current construction site, which has been “enriching” our lives for a year now without any notice. Not only have we been subjected to plenty of no-parking signs and noise. No, of course we also get a whole lot of dusty cars and windows thrown in for free. And, of course, lovely construction trailers that clog up the street and, naturally, love to line up as early as 6:30 a.m. to get in. Unfortunately, 90% of them aren’t even capable of turning off their engines while they’re waiting.
