During the initial analysis, it became clear that Peak Ace did not really understand how Eurobuch worked because the fact that Eurobuch did not manage its own book catalogs, but only searched external sites and databases, did not resonate with their considerations. Through several discussions as part of a second service contract, in which the correct structure of Eurobuch was explained several times, a further agreement was reached, whereby Peak Ace would recommend concrete measures.
In autumn 2023, we commissioned the Peak Ace agency to analyze our eurobuch.com / eurobuch.de pages for SEO measures and make appropriate recommendations. For a better understanding: Eurobuch is a price comparator, i.e. a meta-search engine for books that has been on the market for over 20 years and is the market leader in German-speaking countries. The analysis showed that there was a lot of potential to optimize our site, but that the corresponding measures could only be taken via a further contract - and a further payment. Even during the first analysis, it became clear that Peak Ace had not really understood how Eurobuch works, because the fact that Eurobuch does not manage its own book catalogs, but only searches external sites and databases, was not reflected in their considerations. Through several discussions as part of a second service contract, in which the correct structure of Eurobuch was explained several times, a further agreement was reached, whereby Peak Ace would recommend concrete measures. The documents provided by Peak Ace still left a lot to be desired, but came with the conviction that their recommendations would lead to rapid success (of course, no guarantee was given and was not to be expected). We then had to invest a lot of time (several months) and significant financial resources to implement the technology and the new content to be created. At the beginning of 2024, after extensive testing, we took the implemented measures online. Unfortunately without ANY success so far! A request to Peak Ace to take a look at the implementation of the measures recommended by the agency and to let us know briefly whether we had overlooked something or implemented it incorrectly was succinctly answered after repeated contact with " ... I'm sorry, but there is currently no contractual relationship between you and Peak Ace AG, so unfortunately I can't help you with this. " !?! Conclusion: neither their alleged expertise in SEO nor their optimization suggestions and certainly not their customer service can be recommended!

Based on the online reviews, PeakAce seemed to be a good partner who knew a lot about SEO.
Peak Ace looked at our pages in the first instance and filtered out the areas where there was SEO potential.
Three employees were involved on the customer side. Two from the technical department and one from management.
The results so far have been devastating, as none of the recommendations implemented have improved anything. On the contrary, things have got worse.
Deadlines were generally met. Unfortunately, there was hardly any response to our feedback or our comments were ignored.
Actually nothing positive, but rather a lack of willingness to understand us (customers) properly. It was more about selling your own idea even if, as it turned out, it didn't lead to success.
Customer service should be at the forefront, both in terms of understanding what the customer is doing and the willingness to support the customer in implementing the project ideas.
What impressed me most was the high level of competence and expertise of the provider. It is impressive to see how accessible and efficient the team was. The expertise and understanding of the digital marketing and optimization processes was palpable, and this contributes significantly to the success of the project. The ability to respond to our concerns quickly and competently is a decisive factor in the positive collaboration and the results achieved.
I am the head of the digital development department in our company. Our company operates 40 hostels and my responsibilities lie in software development and the design of our company's digital presence. I work to improve our digital products and services and ensure that our online presence runs smoothly to provide a first-class experience for our guests and customers.
The project objectives included a long-term collaboration in the field of digital marketing, spanning several years. This includes various aspects such as PPC (pay-per-click) advertising, SEO (search engine optimization), SEA (search engine advertising), conversion rate optimization, content marketing and much more. Our goals were to strengthen our digital presence, increase visibility in search engines, increase the efficiency of our advertising campaigns and ultimately improve conversion rates to ensure the success of our online marketing efforts.
The choice of provider was based on our long-standing business relationship and an expansion of our collaboration. Originally, the cooperation with our company started some time ago, and I later extended it in the area of SEA (search engine advertising) by working with Peak Ace AG. An additional influence on the decision was my personal acquaintance with an internal employee of Peak Ace AG from previous professional experience. This connection and the already existing positive relationship with our company played a decisive role in the selection of this provider.
The provider's approach varies depending on the area of the project. In the SEO area, we use bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress and make ongoing adjustments. There is continuous testing to optimize performance. Communication takes place via tickets, allowing concerns to be recorded quickly and dealt with directly. This iterative and transparent approach allows us to continuously work on improving SEO results and ensure that all aspects of the project are managed effectively.
Several employees were involved in the project, each of whom had a specific role: 3 employees are involved in the SEO (search engine optimization) area. At least 2 employees are involved in the CRO (conversion rate optimization) area. In addition to the SEO and CRO teams, there is a project and marketing manager who oversaw the overall coordination and strategic direction of the project. There are also employees in the end area who are responsible for the realization and implementation of changes. So in total there are around 7 people involved in the project, each person played a specific role to successfully implement and manage the different aspects of the project.
Compliance with the KPIs: All defined KPIs were achieved during the project. This shows that the set goals and performance indicators were successfully met. Conversion rates: The conversion rates were significantly improved. This indicates that the conversion rate optimization (CRO) measures implemented were effective and helped to convert more visitors into paying customers. High visibility on the web: The project has led to a significant increase in visibility on the web. This may have been achieved, for example, through a better ranking in search engine results (SEO) or an improved presence in the relevant digital channels. These results demonstrate the success of the project and show that the strategies and measures applied have had a positive impact on your company's performance and online presence.
The cooperation with the provider is extremely effective. Both the preparation and the implementation went smoothly and were carried out excellently. There is always clear and open communication between our company and the provider. All agreed tasks are completed on time and there was good coordination between the teams. Overall, the effectiveness of the collaboration has made a significant contribution to our successful project. The ability to work together smoothly and achieve the goals set has led to positive results and further improved the quality of the services provided.

Basically, we are very satisfied with the provider's performance. However, one area where there was room for improvement was the staff turnover. There were changes in the team, but it was pleasing to see that the new employees quickly learned the ropes and successfully implemented the tasks.
