★★★★★ Impressive event with unique dynamics, despite its massive scale The OMR Festival at Hamburg Messe und Congress is without a doubt an exceptional event. What is created here is truly impressive, at the same time, you need to be aware that this is a large-scale mass event. This is noticeable in both halls A and B: huge crowds, dense traffic, and an enormous number of people. At the beginning, it requires some patience, you really have to find your way. It can easily take an hour to get oriented, locate the right areas, and understand the structure. Masterclasses are completely overcrowded, no change to participate if not reserved before. However, once you’ve managed that, the experience changes significantly. What initially feels overwhelming turns into something like a “community gathering” or industry roundtable. You meet the key players, familiar faces, and interesting contacts, and quickly find yourself in meaningful and enjoyable conversations. At that point, the OMR develops a surprisingly familiar and almost personal atmosphere, which is part of its unique appeal. The organization is very well done overall. Accreditation works smoothly and professionally, everything is clearly structured, and despite the large crowds, it is well managed. The overall program is also of high quality and offers a wide range of interesting content. Given the scale of the event, one may also reflect on the costs for sponsors, exhibitors, and participants, especially considering the high demand and crowded environment. At the same time, it offers a platform that is truly unique in terms of reach and networking opportunities. Conclusion: An impressive, very well-organized large-scale event with outstanding reach and valuable connections. Initially overwhelming and crowded, but highly rewarding once you find your way.
