Gamification - online presence for GP Papenburg AG The GP Group is a competence network of 61 subsidiaries and operating units of GP Günter Papenburg AG. Around 4,000 employees work nationwide in the fields of raw materials extraction, production of building materials, building construction, civil engineering, road and rail construction, mechanical and plant engineering, logistics, recycling and recovery. A new website in a new CD was to be planned and implemented for the group.
The new corporate design features clear structures and a minimalist use of geometric shapes. In collaboration with StickUp Studios, who developed the concept, we were able to create a unique new user experience. The focus was on the latest technologies, a modern user experience and gamification for a very special web experience. The frontend system is based on a Symfony / Twig engine with individually programmed logics for retrieving and displaying CMS data for the frontend. CSS and JS animations as well as client-side communication libraries are used, while OPCache and server-side cache systems ensure performance. In addition, a content delivery network for media will be used to ensure maximum performance.
Front-end systems are developed for the applicant portal and the website, which retrieve and transmit the data via the corresponding APIs. This means that news can be maintained in the CMS and, for example, also displayed appropriately with a job advertisement or a location page.
