bike-discount.de is one of the largest bicycle online retailers in Europe - with millions of customers, an extensive product range and high demands on usability, performance and scalability. The aim of the project was to successfully migrate the existing Shopware 5 system to Shopware 6 to ensure long-term future-proofing, better performance and greater flexibility.
Project content:
- Systematic data migration: articles, categories, orders, customer accounts and individual pricing logic were transferred without loss.
- New development of individual functions: Existing in-house developments and Shopware 5 plugins were reinterpreted and made compatible for Shopware 6.
- UX and design relaunch: creation of modern worlds of experience, mobile-first optimization and visual development based on the existing brand identity.
- ERP and PIM connection: smooth integration of all third-party systems through API-controlled processes - including price control, stock reconciliation and order logic.

We work with Nextlevels in the area of TikTok marketing to generate qualified applications for our Germany-wide NGO campaigns. After a successful pilot phase, we were particularly impressed by the high conversion rate of over 50 percent. The collaboration is professional, constructive and efficient: deadlines are met, feedback is implemented quickly and communication is transparent. The agency's understanding of our target group and its ability to implement creative campaigns with measurable success deserve special mention.
Our company carries out face-to-face campaigns throughout Germany on behalf of renowned NGOs. We use information stands in busy city centers to attract new sponsoring members and supporters. The focus is on professional, performance-oriented sales, exclusively for non-profit organizations. I am responsible for recruiting, in particular for attracting and qualifying new applicants. My goal is to generate a high four-digit number of qualified applications per year and to manage personnel planning throughout Germany.
The main aim of the project was to generate qualified applications via social media campaigns. As part of a pilot phase, we worked with several agencies to evaluate which one best suited our requirements. At the end of the test phase, we decided to continue working with Nextlevels GmbH in the area of TikTok marketing and another agency for meta campaigns. The aim was to optimize the costs per lead and at the same time increase the quality of the applications.
The first contact with Nextlevels was very positive. The team was professional, solution-oriented and friendly. We initially opted for a pilot collaboration to evaluate the performance. After convincing results in the first two months (September and October), we decided to continue the collaboration until the end of the year and to expand the partnership if it continues to be successful.
A kick-off meeting was held at the beginning of the project, at which all relevant contacts were introduced. The campaign objectives were then agreed and the first measures were implemented promptly. As I have extensive experience in recruiting and performance marketing myself, I was able to provide valuable insights into our target group and optimize the approach together with the agency. After the conception phase, video clips were produced, approved by me and published on TikTok. To monitor success, we established a weekly reporting system that includes key figures such as the number of leads, lead price and lead quality.
A total of three people were involved on the agency side: the managing director, who was responsible for the initial meeting and strategic coordination, a team lead, who was responsible for operational management, and a performance manager, who was responsible for setting up, optimizing and evaluating the campaigns.
Particularly noteworthy is the conversion rate via TikTok, which was over 50 to 60 percent. This means that more than half of the leads generated led to actual job interviews. This strong performance was the decisive reason why we entrusted Nextlevels with the entire TikTok area. We evaluate lead quality based on the conversion rate to application appointments - i.e. how many of the generated leads can actually be reached by telephone and subsequently arrange an interview. This key figure is regularly in the upper range, but still shows potential for optimization.
All agreed deadlines were met. Feedback was always implemented promptly and constructively. Communication ran smoothly and the team responded quickly to requests for adjustments or suggestions for optimization.
I was most impressed by the high conversion rate and the targeted approach on TikTok, which performed significantly better than other agencies tested. We were also impressed by the team's fast and professional way of working.
The quality of the advertising material can still be optimized in some cases. Occasionally, the video assets supplied were not quite at the desired level, either technically or visually. Improved quality control in post-production would be helpful here to further increase the overall impact of the campaigns.
