Description
Delica AG is part of the Migros Group, a well-known Swiss retail conglomerate, and manages a broad portfolio of popular coffee and consumer goods brands. In the e-commerce space, the company sells, among other things, the well-known coffee brands Delizio and CoffeeB, as well as a wide range of products through the Migros Shop.
Solution
To overcome the technical hurdles, Delica—together with Latori—opted for a comprehensive migration from Shopware to Shopify Plus. Latori designed and implemented a tailored multi-brand setup covering four separate Shopify instances. The solution included:
- A new brand-appropriate design and frontend implementation for all stores.
- A smooth, secure data migration using Matrixify.
- Seamless integration of multiple Shopify apps and essential interfaces.
- The technical implementation of special, customer-specific processes (such as machine registration).
Results
The complex migration project was successfully completed in record time—just seven months. Latori delivered a smooth, stable launch for all four online stores. By moving to Shopify Plus, Delica AG now benefits from a high-performance, easily scalable, future-proof e-commerce platform that optimally supports the continued growth of the Migros brands and significantly simplifies management across the different shops.
