If only I could put a zero. I’ve been harassed for weeks by a consultant who keeps calling me even though I’ve asked him at least ten times to leave me alone. He always calls back from another number, so blocking them doesn’t do anything. Even today, I hung up on him because I have absolutely no interest in the services he’s offering, and he refuses to listen. I don’t know whether he’s taking it personally, but it’s really starting to get to me. I hate cold calling done this way—it only makes things worse when he keeps pushing. I’ll never use this company because of how this individual has behaved. Edit in response to Lamarck’s reply below: it is indeed Lamarck Group. This man, supposedly named Peter Thomas, is part of Lamarck Group China (Shenzhen). He is Asian and calls me in English. He called me again today for what feels like the umpteenth time (09/26/24).

Hi Jessica, We’re not in China, and no one in our company is named Peter THOMAS. You’ve unfortunately mistaken the company. Please do another search and make sure the rating is for the correct company. Contact me directly so we can clarify who you’re referring to. If the person is indeed a Lamarck Group employee (since we never operate this way), we’ll take care of the matter. One more thing: there isn’t a Jessica among our clients or any potential prospects. We work almost exclusively by referral now, not by cold-calling. Maybe you’ve got the wrong person?
