Our company develops semiconductors and infrastructure software to support complex, mission-critical operations for organizations worldwide. Our semiconductor solutions are used across networking, wireless connectivity, servers and storage, broadband, and industrial applications. And our infrastructure software supports private cloud environments, mainframe systems, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and Fibre Channel storage network management.

We were upgrading a network monitoring product and needed help making sense of hybrid infrastructure, both physical hardware and virtual layers. The goal was to bring everything into one interface, improve visibility, and make the system more usable for real-world telecom environments.

We knew their work and ability to manage complex, long-term systems, not just short-term tasks.

They were involved in both backend and frontend parts of the system, refactoring architecture, improving data processing, and building new UI components on top of an older framework. This included integrating around 15 third-party systems, working with large-scale data processing (including migration to Vertica), developing algorithms for storage and analysis, and building tools like a network monitoring simulator for testing. They also helped customize the product for different telecom clients by adapting it to specific network setups and ensuring everything worked reliably in real-world environments.

Hard to pin it down to one metric, but the biggest shift was that we now have a single system that connects physical and virtual network layers. It handles large volumes of data, gives real-time visibility, and is already used by telecom providers to monitor their infrastructure more effectively.

Given how many teams were involved, things could’ve easily gone sideways, but they kept their part organized. Work was delivered in iterations, communication stayed consistent, and they adapted pretty well when requirements shifted or new integrations came in.

In-Person Meeting

Can you imagine building 15 third-party systems with old codebase, missing documentation, hardware integrations, all of it. They just got into it, figured things out, and kept building on top of what was already there. There were really hard parts, but accomplished what we were going.

Nothing major stands out. It’s a long-running project with a lot of moving pieces, so naturally there were adjustments along the way, but nothing that slowed things down in a serious way.

Founded more than 185 years ago as a soap and candle maker, the company has grown into one of the world’s largest consumer goods enterprises, home to a portfolio of iconic and trusted brands.

We needed two interactive AR experiences for iPad that could be used in live promo setups. One for Ariel and one for Pantene. The apps had to actually work smoothly in public spaces and be easy for anyone to use.

We got a system redesign plus multiple new features and dashboards. On the feature side: Tree View for balance grouping, CSV export, Snapshot and Refresh capabilities, Manage Columns and View Options, Favorites, Audit Timeline, On-demand Sweeps, advanced Cashflow Search, Multiple Manual Adjustments, and Save Configurations.

Both games ran as intended on iPads - marker-based AR, scoring, multiple levels, auto-reset. Ariel’s app even shared photos to social media. The apps held up well during events and met our engagement goals.
