I haven't been able to reach them by phone so far, even though I called during business hours. You just get stuck on hold indefinitely. An email sent to [email protected] still hasn't been answered after 1.5 days, even though it was addressed directly to a contact person. This is not good at all!!

They can't get anything done.

Hello there! My update after more than five years of KDO ... It's a tragedy! Everything that goes beyond the "ideal standard" is not acceptable/feasible for the KDO. Not a day goes by without annoyances because something is not working again. Everything takes forever, the "performance" of the terminal server is subterranean. We will leave KDO again in 2027 and bring IT back in-house! KDO is for local authorities that don't have and have never had admins. It's best to have only one town hall with 30 employees, no WLAN, only a handful of printers without special functions, ... I've really tried to wring something good out of the whole thing over the last few years ... no. Sorry. True story: I got a personal contact who was really great. And what happens? He resigned because he didn't like the machinations of KDO. And how they ask the employees to vote positively here ... Just pathetic! FROM HERE ON THE ORIGINAL POST: I am only expressing my personal opinion here, based on personal experience! KDO is a service provider for companies that have neither medium to high-end requirements nor any knowledge of IT themselves. Absolutely profit-oriented. The sales department promises you the blue sky, "everything is possible" and "no problem"! In the end, you are completely incapacitated. Everything that was once "no problem" became less and less after the contract was signed according to the salami principle. Despite an inventory that was almost in the tens of thousands of euros, countless mistakes were made. And things that had been fixed for months were suddenly called into question and only implemented after endless negotiations and months of delay. Administratively, you are tied to a post. The administration interface is a disaster (from a third-party provider). If you submit three tickets that take 15 minutes each, they are processed by three employees and billed for a full hour each. This could go on for a long time, but it should be enough. It has to be said that most of the employees are very competent and I don't take any offense at them. The company policy and the sales department just don't fit. It's like cooking! Do it yourself and use your own resources! It's cheaper in the end and you know what you've got!
