IOX GmbH from Cologne is a development partner for connected products. We support manufacturers from the first product idea all the way to a market-ready, production-ready device: product strategy and business case, prototype and MVP, serial development, certification and approvals, as well as operations and maintenance. What’s special about our approach is that we take full responsibility for all disciplines together. Electronics and hardware, embedded software, cloud architecture, systems engineering, and industrialization are handled by a single partner—not by four different service providers waiting on each other. We also bring experience in areas that are typically especially challenging for connected devices: battery-powered products, mobile connectivity, e-paper and display development, and manufacturing in Asia—including certification. Our experience: connected products rarely fail because of the technology. They fail due to decisions made before the first line of code is ever written. That’s why every project at IOX starts with alignment and clarification—not implementation. IOX was founded in 2015 and is based in Cologne. Our customers include manufacturers from machinery and plant engineering, electrical engineering, medical technology, and consumer goods.
