I have been with IDNet just over two weeks now and can only recommend. The transfer over to IDNet from Zen was so easy and as promised the swap over was bang on time. I had a few issues with the ASUS router supplied but nothing that was IDNets fault so I have had to source my own Router ( call of duty game issue that didn’t agree with the AI security software on the router) I contacted customer service who have been fantastic to organise a return of my router for a refund and will be reducing my monthly cost. The speeds when doing tests through eero app show I’m getting what I pay for 1.2gb up and down. My response time is also good when gaming and everything just works. Like others have said when you need any help and you make the call, yes you get very knowledgeable people and straight away not fighting through automated rubbish. Well done so far IDNet 5 stars from me and I will definitely recommend you to anyone. Thanks

IDNet have supplied our broadband and phone service for the past sixteen years. On the few occasions we have required technical support issues have been dealt with professionally and promptly, Yes, they are slightly more expensive than some competitors but the stability and service are worth a small premium.

The router they sent me with my package had packet loss and random wifi disconnecting. I purchased another router which resolved all of my issues. I requested to return the router I purchased through them for a full refund, they refused and offered a replacement router (so they expect me to use a faulty router until they send a replacement). After returning the router, 2 weeks later I receive the same faulty router I had sent originally. Customer service is shocking.

Dear Alex, We must strongly dispute a number of the claims made in your review and subsequent correspondence. The router returned to you should not have been the same unit you originally sent back. A replacement router was dispatched following receipt of your return, and this was confirmed to you directly by email, if the same router has been returned to you, this has been in error for which we apologise. However, the returned router was received by us last week, and the replacement unit was shipped on Friday. It was not “two weeks later” as stated in your review. Although you requested the new router remained sealed, as part of our standard procedure, replacement routers are unboxed and pre-configured prior to dispatch to ensure they are operational and correctly configured for the customer’s connection. This is done specifically to minimise setup issues and provide the highest possible level of service. Due to the error above, and in line with our commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service, we have arranged collection of the router from you and, once received back and inspected, a refund will be raised accordingly. Sincerely, IDNet
Flawless
I've been with IDNet for my broadband and originally my landline needs for many years. I first heard of IDNet when they were instrumental in bringing fibre broadband to the village approx 15 years ago. They were extremely helpful in setting me up at home and being just on the end of a telephone (in this country) any time I needed some advice, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Slightly more expensive than their rivals, but the customer service is second to none and there is no 'throttling' of broadband at peak periods. It's always been reliable no nonsense broadband. I have upgraded to SoGea only broadband now and IDNet made the transition seamless, what can I say....give them a try.
Have been with IDNet for many years now , having been "ex-communicated" by my previous ISP for complaining about my poor quality (& unreliable) ADSL broadband "too often" (in their opinion). IDNet quickly got to the root cause of the issues & the service, but for a few glitches (always promptly addressed), has been stable & consistent ever since. Although FTTP has recently become available, I won't be able to take advantage of it for a while yet, but the exemplary IDNet customer service team, always quickly available by phone, has given lots of useful advice & guidance for when I'm able to go ahead with the transition. As others have pointed out, there are cheaper ISPs available, but for the ideal balance of cost, 24-hour availability, reliability, plus friendly, patient & knowledgeable telephone support when needed, I don't think you'd find better.
You know the quality of a broadband supplier when something goes wrong. Straight through to technical support, Very helpful. Not just reading from a script,. Excellent!
Rock solid service, a step above the big ISPs. I only contacted them a couple of times but got straight through to a real person and they quickly resolved my queries. Just a shame their setup cost for a month by month contract was so high or I would have stayed when we moved.
IDNet has been reliable and consistently high speed. I barely need to think about my ISP or Internet connection. This is exactly how it should be, quality service which gets out of the way ✅
