ID-LAB connects a worldwide community of people-focused specialists who design how people encounter and move through the built world. Drawing on hands-on practice and a strong grounding in Design Thinking, Environmental Psychology, and Service Design, our teams in Australia, the Netherlands, and France deliver work across health, infrastructure, transport, commercial, urban, civic, and cultural sectors, creating spaces that are both elegant and highly usable, with a clear focus on better user experiences. We combine strategic methods such as Wayfinding, Universal Design, and User Experience Design to develop solutions that are practical and meaningful. Our Wayfinding Strategists work closely with Accessibility experts to make navigation straightforward for every ability level, while our User Experience Designers partner with Environmental Psychologists to align places with users’ natural habits and preferences, supporting safety, engagement, and day-to-day functionality.
