We can look back on over 25 years of experience in which we have enthusiastically accompanied projects from the idea to the finished solution. It all started in a "nerdy two-man office" where there were more computers than people. We have long since outgrown this: today we are proud to be agile, in an old building in Karlsruhe and with a team of 25 employees who are all digital inventors. We have fun at work, admit weaknesses and use them as an opportunity to improve. We value open and respectful interaction, as working together as equals is important to us.

The #DigitaleVorbilder initiative of the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is aimed at families with children. The aim of the EU-funded initiative is to promote media literacy and data protection awareness in everyday digital life. To this end, the website offers events, online seminars, videos and podcasts to help parents and children navigate the internet safely and use digital media responsibly. The aim is to support families in becoming "digital role models" themselves. In order to give the initiative a suitable online presence, we were allowed to realize the new website with TYPO3.
In order to make recordings and other lecture content available in the long term, a media library has been set up. Various media formats such as videos, podcasts and graphic recordings can be added here by #DigitaleVorbilder itself. To ensure data protection and avoid dependencies, the video and audio files are self-hosted. A player was built for this purpose that plays the files and can output subtitles for videos in different languages. The player contains a description and a table of contents with timestamps under each video.
The homepage complies with WCAG 2.1 conformance level AAA and is therefore also BITV 2.0 compliant. Accordingly, information is also available in plain language and there is a version with German sign language for many videos.
