Digital Unicorn is an app, software and web development agency based in Paris, France, founded in 2018. A team of 51 developers, designers and project leads builds iOS and Android applications, custom business software, SaaS platforms, websites and e-commerce stores for clients across France and Europe. Minimum project budget: 8,000 EUR. Working languages: French and English.
Mobile applications. Native and cross-platform iOS and Android apps, from UX/UI design to store release and ongoing evolution. Timeleft is a social app we helped scale internationally; FO TF1 is a mobile intranet for the French broadcaster; ARNTREAL combines NFC-enabled clothing with in-app gamification; and we developed the L'Atelier de Roxane mobile game.
Custom software and SaaS. Business applications, SaaS products and internal management platforms built around the way teams actually work. SMC Protect handles GDPR compliance workflows; Klekoon covers public tenders and e-sourcing; SparkPlan is an AI-assisted specification and knowledge-base tool.
AI integration. We embed AI assistants, business agents and voice features into existing products. SparkPlan has run on OpenAI and LangChain since 2023, and SparkPlan Voice on Azure OpenAI voice agents since 2024. Related work covers technical documentation, budget estimation and transcription.
CRM and ERP integration. HubSpot API synchronisation for MyTry, creating contacts and companies and linking them at sign-up; HubSpot forms on WordPress for Skeepers; Webflow forms connected to Zoho for Doriane. On the ERP side, Shopify connected to Strategic ERP with order transmission for Au Rubis, and a Quable module with CEICOM-DISTEL 7.3 webservice calls in PrestaShop for Rolesco, including customer-specific pricing.
Websites and e-commerce. Drupal for Premiere.fr, Webflow for Bloomeo, Astro and Sanity for the Timeleft Brand Partnerships page, Shopify for Au Rubis and Nebuleuse, PrestaShop for Rolesco and Berrish. Book Village shows our marketplace experience: Algolia search, MangoPay payments, KYC and Mondial Relay delivery.
Health and innovation. Doctamob is our reference project in medical appointment booking. For projects involving health data we work with HDS-certified hosting providers, within the agreed scope. Digital Unicorn SAS is accredited for the French Innovation Tax Credit (Credit d'Impot Innovation) for 2025-2029, by decision of DRIEETS Ile-de-France dated 9 July 2025.
How we work. One team covers discovery, UX/UI design, engineering, integration, QA and maintenance, so clients do not have to coordinate several suppliers. Projects run in two-week sprints, each ending in a demo, with a staging environment open to the client and a single project lead as point of contact. Engagement models: fixed price, time and materials, dedicated team, and monthly maintenance retainers.
Who we work with. Startups and small businesses building a first product, scale-ups and mid-market companies extending an existing platform, and large organisations and public bodies. Sectors: IT and SaaS, e-commerce and retail, media and publishing, health, consumer goods, and marketing services. Contact: [email protected], digitalunicorn.fr, 61 Rue de Lyon, Paris, France.

A great experience with Digital Unicorn. The team quickly understood our mobile app, and the development process was well organized. Sebastian was always readily available whenever we had a question.
We worked with Digital Unicorn on the development of our web platform. They listened closely during the scoping phase, the mockups were excellent, and everything was delivered in sprints as planned.
Their process and methodology make the whole experience really enjoyable. The team really knows its stuff when it comes to web and mobile development.
A big thank-you to Lucas, Sébastien, and Martin. We’re continuing to work with them on maintenance.
I’m Gilles Fonseca, founder of Captain-Fisher, an app that’s basically a social network for fishing and boat rentals. I wanted to leave a review to express my gratitude to Digital Unicorn. A business angel recommended them to me, having worked with the team on an app and been very happy with their work.
After working with two development firms, I’d had a tough time finding capable people, especially in a field that’s constantly evolving. I’ve now been working with Lucas’s team for over a year and a half, and I couldn’t be happier. Digital Unicorn rebuilt the app’s front end and back end for iOS and Android, and this year they rebuilt the desktop version of the website.
Their rates are also extremely competitive, and the quality is excellent. The team and management are responsive and attentive, and they handle updates and other changes quickly. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with them—I’m sure they’ll help bring your project to life.
I’m very happy to be working with Digital Unicorn.
The Digital Unicorn team is reliable, responsive, and delivers high-quality work.
They listened to our needs at every step and provided genuine support, from the first ideas all the way through to a final result that far exceeded our expectations.
I highly recommend Digital Unicorn to anyone looking to develop an app, website, or similar project.
I stepped into Digital Unicorn feeling super cautious, but they quickly cleared every doubt. We had weekly chats, and each one left me pumped. I definitely saw my app turn from a rough draft to something smooth Their easygoing approach kept me going, and I'd do it all over again if I had to.

Team
Digital Unicorn has been building digital products from Paris since 2018. The team is now 51 people - mobile and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers and project leads - working for clients in France, Belgium, Switzerland and across Europe, in French and English.
Every project has one lead who stays with it from the first scoping call through to post-launch maintenance, and the people who write the specification are the people who build the product. Designers work alongside developers rather than handing over files, so UX decisions and engineering decisions are made together instead of in sequence.
We deliberately kept integration work in-house, because that is where most projects get difficult. Connecting a product to HubSpot or Zoho, to an ERP, to a PIM such as Quable, or to an AI stack is something our own team does - from HubSpot API synchronisation for MyTry, to CEICOM-DISTEL webservices in PrestaShop for Rolesco, to OpenAI and LangChain agents running in SparkPlan since 2023.
We take on projects from 8,000 EUR, and Digital Unicorn SAS is accredited for the French Innovation Tax Credit (Credit d'Impot Innovation) for 2025-2029 by DRIEETS Ile-de-France.

What does Digital Unicorn SAS do?
Digital Unicorn is a Paris-based app, software and web development agency founded in 2018, with a team of 51 developers, designers and project leads. We build iOS and Android mobile applications, custom business software and SaaS platforms, websites and e-commerce stores - and we connect them to the tools our clients already run: CRM (HubSpot, Zoho), ERP and product catalogues, and AI services. Recent work includes Timeleft (a social app scaled internationally), a mobile intranet for TF1, ARNTREAL (NFC-enabled clothing with gamification), SparkPlan (an AI specification tool built on OpenAI and LangChain), Book Village (a marketplace with Algolia search, MangoPay payments, KYC and Mondial Relay shipping), Doctamob (medical appointment booking) and Shopify / PrestaShop stores such as Au Rubis, Nebuleuse, Rolesco and Berrish. We work in French and English with startups, scale-ups and mid-market companies across France and Europe, from a minimum project budget of 8,000 EUR.
What sets Digital Unicorn SAS apart from the competition?
Three things. First, one team covers the whole chain - UX/UI design, mobile and web engineering, integrations, SEO and maintenance - so you are not coordinating three suppliers. Second, integration is our core skill, not a subcontracted extra: connecting a product to HubSpot or Zoho, to an ERP such as Strategic ERP, to a PIM such as Quable, or to an AI stack (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain) is routine work here, and we have shipped it for MyTry, Skeepers, Doriane, Au Rubis and Rolesco. Third, we are a recognised innovation partner: Digital Unicorn SAS holds the French Innovation Tax Credit (Credit d'Impot Innovation) accreditation for 2025-2029, granted by DRIEETS Ile-de-France on 9 July 2025, and for projects handling health data we work with HDS-certified hosting providers. We are large enough to staff a full product squad and small enough that the people who scope your project are the ones who build it.
What is the project approach of Digital Unicorn SAS?
Five stages. 1) Discovery - we clarify the business objective, the users and the constraints, and write the specification. 2) UX/UI design - user flows, wireframes and a validated interface before any production code. 3) Development - two-week agile sprints, each ending in a demo, with code review and a staging environment you can test at any time. 4) QA and launch - functional and cross-device testing, App Store and Google Play submission for mobile projects, deployment and handover documentation. 5) Maintenance and evolution - monitoring, bug fixes, security and OS updates, and a roadmap for the next features. You have a single project lead as your point of contact throughout, a shared channel for day-to-day questions, and a written report at the end of each sprint.
How does Digital Unicorn SAS calculate scope, time & budget?
We start with a free scoping call, then produce a written specification listing features, technical constraints and dependencies. From that we issue either a fixed-price quote broken down by phase (design, development, QA, launch) with a delivery schedule, or a day rate for time-and-materials and dedicated-team engagements. Our minimum project budget is 8,000 EUR. As a rough guide, a website or e-commerce store runs 6 to 10 weeks, a first mobile app version 3 to 6 months, and a complex platform or game 6 to 9 months. Any change of scope is quoted and approved in writing before work on it starts, so the budget never moves without your agreement. Post-launch maintenance and support are quoted as a separate monthly retainer.
Who is the typical client of Digital Unicorn SAS?
About half of our clients are startups and small businesses building a first product or an MVP. Roughly a third are scale-ups and mid-market companies modernising or extending an existing platform, and the remainder are large organisations, public bodies and non-profits. Our usual contacts are founders, CTOs, Chief Product Officers, CIOs, innovation directors, IT and digital project managers, and e-commerce managers. By sector, we are strongest in IT and SaaS, e-commerce and retail, media and publishing, health, consumer goods and marketing services. Most of our clients are based in France, Belgium, Switzerland and the wider EU, and we run projects in both French and English.
