We’re a privately owned web and design agency based in Langen, and we work with small and mid-sized businesses across the Rhein-Main region. Andrea Leitold is responsible for design and user guidance, and Tim Ehling handles tech, WordPress, and SEO. That means you’ll always be working directly with the owners. Our focus areas include WordPress websites, accessible web design in line with the BFSG, Local and regional SEO, and visibility in AI searches such as ChatGPT or Google AI. After the launch, we take care of maintenance, updates, and security—on the hosting provider of your choice. For agencies and designers, we deliver websites, maintenance, and SEO as a white-label partner. Tim is an OMT expert and a speaker for the IHK. Our prices are listed openly on our website: company websites from €3,500, and maintenance from €69 per month.

Forensic analysis and GDPR basis after a shop hack

Description
A mid-sized WooCommerce shop was hacked and suddenly started showing casino spam. The site owner had cleaned it up quickly, but the shop wanted to find out independently what had really happened and whether any customer data was affected. We investigated the incident using forensic analysis.
Solution
We analyzed about 30 days of server logs and reconstructed the attack across multiple backup generations without interfering with the live system. A clean backup status from before the intrusion served as our reference. That made it possible to prove the entry path: an unprotected interface—no cracked password. The suspicious bulk data pulls were confirmed to have come from the company’s own ERP system.
Results
- Complete timeline from the last clean status to the cleanup
- Entry path verified; alternatives ruled out cleanly
- Honest evidence for the report to the state data protection authority: no leakage has been proven, but it can’t be ruled out
- Clear recommendations: rebuild on a clean foundation and delete the contaminated backups
