Hm, a weird first contact... I called several times recently because PIA posted a job that would have been a good fit for a former friend of mine. He had been working on such topics at PIA for some time, I knew that, but we hadn't had any personal contact for a while. I contacted HR several times to enquire about the position, but no one answered. The receptionist kept putting me off. Then I wrote an email to info@... and nothing happened for an eternity and I had already put the issue aside, when suddenly I received a reply. A rejection for the position. Wait a minute, I didn't even apply? I called the person because she was so clumsy and didn't delete her extension from the email. Yes, the position had been filled and there was nothing more they could say. Nothing at all. After repeated assurances that I was not a headhunter who wanted to annoy PIA, but was only interested in a single question, namely whether the position was docked with him and whether something like that was advertised more often, I was only told not to comment, that I should contact him via LinkedIn, where he could be found. PIA really let me down, but in a really bad way. Thanks for nothing! You can forget the company.
Quite nice and nicely done.
