Thank you to Nico Lemke for his quick response and helpful replies to my questions about sourcing a new Sachs clutch kit for my 997.1 Turbo

I would like to thank you for the friendly manner and the excellent care provided by Mr. Niko Lemke.

After a thorough and excellent consultation with Mr. Lemke, I bought a DTS threaded coilover suspension for our Golf 4 Cabrio. As hinted earlier, the advice was really good, and Mr. Lemke even took the time to look for alternatives for me as well. For that reason alone, I would buy there again anytime. As for the suspension: unfortunately, I can’t compare it to the original factory suspension, because a “cheap” coilover was installed beforehand. Compared to that, the DTS suspension is worlds better. It still offers a comfortable ride, while keeping the car planted and stable on the road. With it, I’ve also eliminated the hopping/bouncing that my old suspension had. I set the suspension to the maximum height specified in the approval documents. I’m sure that also helps with comfort. Shipping was very fast too—I had the suspension after just two days. And the price was great as well. Bottom line: gladly again.

After a major failure of the existing clutch—which also damaged the transmission—the transmission was completely overhauled on the one hand, and on the other, we had to find a suitable, stronger clutch to connect the power-upgraded engine to the gearbox smoothly and get the car back on the road. I’ll spare you all the technical details here. One thing, though, is important: when it came to finding the right parts, Mr. Nico Lemke from S-Performance GmbH went above and beyond. Because of different part numbers and compatibility issues, this wasn’t a simple task at all—it involved several emails and even coordination phone calls. All in all, we were extremely well supported by him, and we’re now confident and optimistic that the functionality can be restored in the short term. We’re eagerly waiting for the parts to arrive. Addendum: I need to update my review. After the purchase and confirmation, I received the shipping information. Since the entire conversion is being handled as one project, time was already getting tight. When I followed up with Mr. Lemke, he immediately took care of shortening the delivery time—and, as far as possible, had already started working on it. So here are those 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ again, because the deal was already done. The fact that S-Performance—and Mr. Lemke in particular—provides such a positive after-sales service makes it clear to me that we made the right choice with our purchase there. We’ll be back 👍
