Great experience with Sachs Performance. I had a very specific issue with my suspension, and I wasn’t sure whether the right parts were still available. Nico Lemke from the Sales team took it on personally and with a lot of commitment—he checked everything carefully and ultimately found a solution, even though the situation wasn’t exactly straightforward. I’d especially like to highlight how reliable and quick the communication was: I was kept in the loop at all times, I received responses very promptly, and I never once felt like I was being left on my own. You can clearly tell that this isn’t just “getting the job done”—there’s genuine interest in helping the customer. Overall, it was a service that was both highly professional and genuinely personal—definitely more than what you would normally expect. Would absolutely do it again anytime!

Really bad experience with S-Performance / Sachs Performance I bought a SACHS Performance clutch kit for my Audi S4 B5. Once it was installed, the clutch didn’t work properly: the pedal travel was abnormal and I couldn’t shift gears at all. After removing the kit, I reinstalled my original LUK clutch under the same conditions, and it’s working normally again. So I sent the product back (it was delivered to them on 02/25). The estimated inspection time they quoted was about three weeks, but after more than five weeks, no real solution had been offered despite multiple follow-ups. The seller ultimately refused a refund, citing an internal inspection report. I was also asked to close the PayPal dispute and remove my review, even though no concrete solution has been provided at this point. In addition, my previous review was taken down after a report, which I find unfortunate given that my experience is purely factual. Customer service is polite, but the turnaround times are long and the follow-up lacks responsiveness. A process is currently underway to try to resolve the situation.

Very bad experience with S-Performance / Sachs Performance I bought a SACHS Performance clutch kit for my Audi S4 B5. It was installed by a professional, but the clutch didn’t work properly: abnormal pedal travel and the gears wouldn’t engage. During the first exchanges, I was told that the problem was probably coming from my vehicle, not the clutch kit. So we checked everything and put my original LUK clutch back in—it works perfectly again under the same conditions. This proves the issue wasn’t the car, but the SACHS kit. I returned the product (delivered to them on 02/25). They said the inspection would take 3 weeks, but after more than 5 weeks, I still haven’t been given any concrete solution despite several follow-ups. This situation has cost me a lot: • about €800 for labor to install/remove the clutch • return shipping fees • and I’ll have to pay again if I need a future replacement Customer service is polite, but the follow-up is slow and not very responsive, and they seem more inclined to question the customer’s vehicle than the product. Right now, I’m forced to open a PayPal dispute to try to get this resolved.
