Description
The guiding principle of ahg / bhg is: "Earning your trust - every day". At Becklyn, we earned the trust of southern Germany's two largest automotive dealers in 2018. Working closely together, we got the sister websites for ahg and bhg on the road within just a few months - and have continued to develop them ever since.
Solution
With the relaunch and beyond, we've created a headless digital experience platform (DXP) that has some features to offer under the hood: - E-commerce functions for purchasing and reserving vehicles. - Personalized shopping experience based on user behavior - AI-driven presentation of content and search suggestions - Innovative and intelligent search with over 100 filter options, individually ranked search results and highlighted special offers - Location search, reminder function and local landing pages - Seamless integration with company inventory systems - Vehicle inventory management and cleansing - Workflow and automation for editing and displaying content - Customized marketing dashboards with accredited data for better decision making
Results
The special feature of the new approach for the two websites is that 80% of the content is built using data from other systems. For example, the info on vehicle details, prices, and current inventory is played directly to the website from various internal company sources. To make this possible, interfaces were connected to the Headless DXP and individual business logic was configured to process the data. The advantage of this is that the information on the website is always up-to-date, content maintenance shrinks to a minimum and marketing can be partially automated. With the relaunch, we have been able to greatly improve the visibility of ahg / bhg in the search engines: on average by 100%, in some cases even by 120%. We achieved this through the targeted expansion of relevant landing pages and through more ranking keywords in the top 10 search results. This outstanding visibility on the Internet has also been recognized: in 2019, ahg / bhg won eighth place out of more than 100 automotive dealers in Germany at the IAA.
