I’m happy to share my experience with this intermediary so others can make a better-informed decision before choosing to work with him. In my case, he proposed an arrangement in which he would act as the middleman. During our collaboration, I successfully placed two professionals through my network. To my surprise, he ultimately decided to connect with these professionals directly and did not pay the fees for my mediation efforts. In addition, I received signals from both the professionals and the clients—both of whom came from my network—that payments were consistently made late or not at all. They ended the collaboration due to a lack of trust. Unfortunately, this has also affected my own reputation, since I introduced them at the time. Looking back, I found online information indicating that this person has been involved in bankruptcy proceedings in the past. That should have been a reason for me to carefully reconsider the partnership. If I’d known this beforehand, I would not have entered into the collaboration. Although he initially gives a trustworthy impression, based on my experience I strongly recommend being cautious and doing thorough research in advance. A careful check beforehand can prevent a lot of problems and disappointments later on. I urgently ask you to pay me and the professionals involved in full as well. If payment is not made, I’ll have to consider further (legal) steps to protect my rights and those of the professionals.
