Scammers, liars, and people who don’t tell you everything during the initial conversation before signing a contract with them. Also, I was supposed to have constant access to my locker. They said I’d get access only once, at the moment when I wanted to pick up my items—or so they wouldn’t find out. Watch out for the fees connected to the so-called “free transport,” because it’s not that simple. I also asked how it works and whether I would have access to the locker as an individual customer. Here they told me yes. Then I wrote to them on WhatsApp, asking to confirm—however, I still had to sign the contract with them because my wife unfortunately doesn’t speak English, and she didn’t tell me that something else was written on the website. But because of all this, I told them I wouldn’t allow people to take advantage of me who provide information that should be included in the contract and during the phone conversation. And recently, when I tried to pick up my things as usual, they said I had to choose a completely different option and gave me a different one. The price was €40. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but I assume they’re scammers, because they didn’t tell me that if I want to end cooperation, I’d have to pay for the entire year—and then this €40 discount wouldn’t apply anymore. They’d charge normally, €120 per month. That’s why I don’t recommend them to anyone. Also, this office mentioned here—marked as such—doesn’t exist physically in that building. I know, because I asked at reception. They’ve never heard of such a company in my life.

That said, we’d like to clarify a few points based on our records. Your agreement is for a 12-month contract, and the discount you received was specifically tied to that contract duration. These terms—including the quote—were confirmed to you in writing at the start, so everything was clearly documented in advance. At this time, however, only 1 of the agreed 12 months has been paid. We’d also like to explain our service in more detail. Boxie24 is a full-service storage solution: we pick up your belongings, store them securely, and then deliver them back to you. This is clearly stated on our website and was also communicated in your agreement. Our goal is to take the hassle out of moving or storing items, so customers don’t have to handle transportation or logistics themselves. When a customer wants their items returned, we deliver them after the agreed contract months have been paid, in line with the terms you accepted at signup. Regarding the pricing discrepancy you mentioned: that’s correct, and there’s a clear reason for it. At pickup, a welcome promotion was applied, which is why the initial price was lower. Our return delivery pricing is always transparent and available publicly on our website, and it was also clearly stated in your booking confirmation. We completely understand that contract terms and pricing can sometimes be confusing. We’d genuinely like the chance to walk you through everything verbally so it’s 100% clear. I would absolutely not recommend this company. First of all, the quote doesn’t include a price for the return move. That’s either only available on request or only comes up when you want your things returned and you click the link to activate it. Once you find out that they charge money for the return move as well, it turns out to be more than twice as expensive as picking everything up. They claim they gave you a discount on the pickup, but that wasn’t stated in the quote. Another thing that’s mentioned in the fine print (which we missed, but it may be useful for others) is that if you end up only renting storage for part of the month, you still have to pay for the full month. When I say the return-move price isn’t reasonable, they offer an option to pick up the items yourself—and for that you have to pay €100. In the end, we did get a discount for returning the items, but even then we paid far more than for the pickup. I think the way they make money here is pretty slick, and in my opinion these hidden costs go against consumer protection laws. I pointed that out to them. We ended up spending much more than we initially budgeted based on the quote. On top of that, when they came to pick everything up, they arrived with a bus that was too small. That meant we had to wait again the next day until they came back to collect the rest. The employees who picked up our items were anything but careful with our belongings. For example, a fauteuil fell out of the truck onto the street due to their negligence. That definitely didn’t give us a good feeling. Today our items were delivered back again, and those two gentlemen were friendly, precise, and helpful. It certainly wasn’t their fault. If you’re thinking about hiring them, make sure you request a quote first that includes the cost of returning the items all the way into the home.

Had a great experience with Boxie24. I stored my boxes there for 1 year with no issues. It was a smooth pick-up (although you will need to put your whole day aside, because it is hard for the driver to give an exact time), and easy to arrange the delivery of all my items, with a more precise timeframe. Michael was very helpful with this arrangement, and made sure to check whether all my items were accounted for and in the condition I left them before closing down my account. I would use them again in the future.
