I would absolutely not recommend this company. First of all, the quote doesn’t include a price for the return move. That’s either only available on request or only comes up when you want your things returned and you click the link to activate it. Once you find out that they charge money for the return move as well, it turns out to be more than twice as expensive as picking everything up. They claim they gave you a discount on the pickup, but that wasn’t stated in the quote. Another thing that’s mentioned in the fine print (which we missed, but it may be useful for others) is that if you end up only renting storage for part of the month, you still have to pay for the full month. When I say the return-move price isn’t reasonable, they offer an option to pick up the items yourself—and for that you have to pay €100. In the end, we did get a discount for returning the items, but even then we paid far more than for the pickup. I think the way they make money here is pretty slick, and in my opinion these hidden costs go against consumer protection laws. I pointed that out to them. We ended up spending much more than we initially budgeted based on the quote. On top of that, when they came to pick everything up, they arrived with a bus that was too small. That meant we had to wait again the next day until they came back to collect the rest. The employees who picked up our items were anything but careful with our belongings. For example, a fauteuil fell out of the truck onto the street due to their negligence. That definitely didn’t give us a good feeling. Today our items were delivered back again, and those two gentlemen were friendly, precise, and helpful. It certainly wasn’t their fault. If you’re thinking about hiring them, make sure you request a quote first that includes the cost of returning the items all the way into the home.

Had a great experience with Boxie24. I stored my boxes there for 1 year with no issues. It was a smooth pick-up (although you will need to put your whole day aside, because it is hard for the driver to give an exact time), and easy to arrange the delivery of all my items, with a more precise timeframe. Michael was very helpful with this arrangement, and made sure to check whether all my items were accounted for and in the condition I left them before closing down my account. I would use them again in the future.

Renting the boxes from Boxie was super helpfull, the boxes were sturdy and easy to move. I didn't hesitate for a second if they would be protect or hold my stuff. This is the second time I have rented the boxes from them and both times Michael was the person I was in contact with. He was very responsive and flexibel and made sure the timing for the pick-up of the boxes was perfect. Would definitely reccomend, not only for the convenience, but for the security of your belongings and the environment.

Untrustworthy. I used Boxie24 recently and they ended up losing an item and damaging another item. In all they caused 120 Euro worth of damage and only compensated me for 40 Euro. I had to send multiple emails even for that and really pester them. Terrible experience. I even had the insurance with them, but it didn't matter.
