Monday, 11/5/26, 2 calls at 8:00 PM. I blocked the number. I don’t participate in unpaid surveys you use to resell and make money off my time. Time is money.

They’ve been calling my almost 85-year-old mother for days. Sometimes it’s after 8 p.m., and to me that feels like phone harassment. I’ve set up a call forwarding to her voicemail for unknown callers. The person doesn’t leave a message, so it doesn’t seem important. And if it isn’t important, then calling older people at that late hour is nothing short of serious harassment.

I don't even answer the phone when I get these calls. I'm not interested in surveys like that. And if I do happen to answer, I'll definitely hang up. You're just annoying. Stop with this nonsense.

Hopefully a legitimate survey on radio usage. Friendly caller. Took quite a while. Some of the questions were too personal for my taste (marital status, relationship status, income—seriously?). I declined to answer those questions.

A reputable survey on radio and television. A friendly caller—professional and personable ❤️ Recherche Trend Test is part of Ipsos, so it’s absolutely reputable! I’m usually skeptical about these things and question everything right away, but as long as no one tries to sell me a subscription or run a contest, I stay friendly. I was initially annoyed by the call time on a Sunday morning (11:30 a.m.), but they explained to me logically that, of course, they call when there’s a chance to actually reach someone. It worked—I was there ;) (I usually work 5 days a week, and the number was already on my phone from yesterday, so they’d tried once on Saturday). If you don’t like it, you don’t have to participate, but we should ask ourselves why we don’t take a moment to do this. Many people complain about public broadcasting and the associated fees; maybe we should address that in a survey like this.
