If you don’t respond to letters and they just show up at home without an appointment or any prior agreement, that’s not normal. I don’t want to take part—you have to accept that. Please, just stop.

Very unprofessional. They do house visits even though they aren’t really interested or even have an appointment, saying that they selected me weeks ago by mail for a survey. When I objected and said I never agreed to anything, they told me I didn’t have to. Very questionable business practices. The man then turned around and I only saw him knock on a few more houses down the street.

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your description, it sounds like you were selected to take part in a study conducted “face-to-face,” meaning in person by an interviewer on site. Before we contact someone personally, we always send a letter in advance, letting you know that someone from infas will get in touch with you over the next few weeks to arrange an interview appointment. Since we usually don’t have phone numbers for these kinds of in-person surveys, our staff will visit you directly at home. This is a completely normal and necessary procedure to clarify personally whether you would like to participate. Participation in our studies is always voluntary. If you tell us you don’t want to take part, we won’t be allowed to contact you again. Would you like more information about your case? If so, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 0800-7384500 (during normal business hours). Please include your location, the date, and exactly what happened. Then we’ll be happy to provide you with further information about your case. Kind regards, Your infas team

For the past few months, I’ve been getting mail from infas all the time, and I throw it away unread. On the positive side, the letters are actually good for starting the fire in the fireplace. At no point did I ever agree to being bothered, and I’m constantly annoyed by these letters. What’s really sad is that taxpayers’ money is being wasted, especially since the institute is funded by the Ministry of Families. I expected that after the third unanswered letter, I’d finally be left in peace. But today Letter No. 6 arrived. It’s driving me crazy.

The evening vibe of this building really pleasantly surprised me.
