The project: Moving from SourceOne to MailMeter

As part of the Schwan-STABILO corporate group, STABILO International GmbH operates in an environment with multiple independent companies and IT departments. In this context, STABILO and techbold were tasked with replacing the existing SourceOne archiving environment with the modern MailMeter system. The goal was to lay the groundwork for efficient and secure email archiving before the start of a planned IT modernization.

Implementation by techbold

The project had one clear focus: a complete, secure migration of all archived emails. The results speak for themselves: 59,156,519 emails successfully migrated 99.83% success rate. The migration was carried out in close coordination and with joint cooperation with STABILO’s IT team, requiring precise planning, transparent communication, and a structured project process. After the project was completed, STABILO was highly satisfied with the outcome. In particular, the smooth implementation and the personal support provided by the techbold team were praised. With the new MailMeter architecture, STABILO can ensure email security and availability in the long term, and the IT teams benefit from significantly simpler administration.
